I'm annoyed that Gamestop is putting so much focus on androids mps3s ipods, ipads, and whatever else sort of fancy gadgets there are like that.  They should keep the focus on console and PC games and if they want to expand, they should start selling older games and consoles again....NOT discontinuing the sales and trading of them.

I wish a Play n Trade would open up right next to our Gamestop.

I completely agree they should start getting back into old cartridges and older systems. I remember even years ago when I worked there, people would snap up the old Nintendo systems when they were traded in. Now they don't take that stuff at all I think.

They are being pushed by the digital content released directly on systems to go into other areas with tech that can be traded in and resold at at full profit - hence the phones and tablet trade ins.

They can't take PC games for trade ins and reselling, unfortunately, because of the serial number.

Yeah it's really sad, especially since they recently discontinued the trade of PS2 games.  I have a feeling that the PSP will be the next one on the chopping block.  I understand they have to make room for the PS4 and Xbox One sales and all but I'm still going to miss it.    Buying the classics digitally just isn't the same as owning the disc.

I feel like giving up. I will never have the simple things, a car that works, a place to call home, a friend in person, a job with value(not necessarily money), a way to help others all because I can't even help myself.

What a sad (but very interesting) story. It must be very strange to live your entire life in an isolated torture camp only to escape and see how diverse and beautiful the rest of the world is.

On a completely unrelated note, I love my new purse. It used to be, I'd wear cargo pants in order to carry around all the stuff I had, but a purse makes it so much easier! It's like a big pocket you can hit people with.

Why does it seem nobody knows how to make a decent power point these days? My partners (whom I didn't pick to be with) even managed to connect a picture with the caption "poison, the knife, or the noose" with matching illustrations for the cover of our lab. On enzymes. I am unable to relate the topics adequately enough to justify that.

Also, the kitten is blocking me from moving to get my notes. I... don't want to uproot him, but it's late and I wanted to get this done tonight. Perhaps he'll settle back...

Edit: I've also noticed they neglected to give me instructions for what I'm supposed to be filling out... Hm.

There are at least a handful I can think of who haven't appeared in a long time but still do put in a show now and then.  Kia, Theo and Misschievous are 3 that come to mind, all with delightful shares when they show.  Guess it's just their style.  There are many other names I remember from when I first started, peeps that I liked and am sad they haven't shown in a very long time.  Guess Susan's isn't such an addiction for all of us (Either way is cool btw).

Oh I'd be willing to bet some visit as "Guest" at times to see if there's anything new. I've been here off and on since Susan's first turned up on the Internet and I often wonder how some people's lives turned out several years down the road, then there's a few that have died that I miss. Susan's Place has an emotionally addictive attraction while at the same time can be a very depressing place when you begin to care for other people and the suffering they go through becomes upsetting. Trust me, I know!
