So Calico did it. ill do it the second round. Im scheduled for Dr.Chett on feb 17th. 4 months and 29 days from now. from the process of getting the srs letters to endo discussion and so forth. So on the a couple of days ago, i payed the 20 percent.  deposit that he requires in order to book the date. i end up paying a total of 71,441.37. this is a little bit over what is needed, but i wanted to send more than enough to be sure. his requirement is for 65,400baht this includes the deposit and the 500thb fee. BEWARE; i sent my the money western union. if you do it that way, get a copy of the reciept and fax it to ms som. as i had to do it after she told me i needed to when the bank  couldnt find my mtcn number. so im worried about this. ill update later on. i hope this helps someone who sends it western union. doesnt matter to which doctor. always get a copy..mine is fading.                       love, love

i can imagine! the time is going so much faster now it seems. its scary! lol . i just want to be prepared and have everything together because there will be the most busiest four months of my life .                                update: so i found what the problem was. the agent at western union misspelled dr chettawut last name. this is causing them not being able to recieve it directly. its a pain. but everything will work out. i faxed a copy of the western union reciept so hopefuly the bank lets them get the money. if not it will be sent back and i will have to recieve it. arg. so make sure when you wire the money, make sure everything is spelled correctly!

so they finally received the deposit which was worrying me sick. ms som was being so helpfull and sweet to me . she seen that i felt like it was an emergency and replied back every day much more than she normally does . so for my decision has no doubts. now, i have a long list to take care of before the surgery. this includes some tests that is required to see if your fit for the surgery. also have to get my passport, which i never had one.                   on the other hand, i have a virus and im sick in bed :(

so today i bought the ticket. round trip for 1409 $ . this does include insurance. which was 79$. i got this because i feel its best for me with life being life and all. you never know what will happen. it covers different things. i ordered my ticket at cheaptickets.com.  3 months and 30 days until the big day. next step is to get my srs letters .. then the required test done ect. its good to know in 4 months from now... i can happily say ...  *exhale*.

So update. 67 days till big date. last month i applied for a passport. i was required to get my bc and a passport picture, that i got at a local walgreens. that went smoothly. till i recieved a email saying i need to send in 5 documents proving my identity. this would be ok if i wasnt so young. (under 21) this really frustrated me because i didnt know it took all this work just to get a passport. however, i cleaned out my closet and found more than enough documents to send in. so as of today im still waiting for my passport. i dont know what i would recommend to avoid this.. maybe send more than just a bc just in case.  Also, last month i went to my therapist and got my srs letter.  i sent it to dr chett for approval. it took awhile for them to respond. and if you noticed i created a post asking if anyone has heard from him. honestly it made me nervous and scared. i just want everything to go perfect... deep deep down. ms som replied after about a full week apologizing .

she said the reason was that my email was ending up in their spam. thankfully its fixed. my letter was NOT approved. lol. for any future chett patients, no matter how much your therapist works with gid , if they are not a gender therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist.. your letter will NOT be APPROVED . it will only aid in helping get the letters neede. so now ill be just getting my letters(2 required) there just for less stress.  i did get a REALLLY big suite case that i will use to put all my things in. so far im bringing there items: 25 long shirts, bio oil for scar treatment, hand held mirror, pads 96 of them, wipes none perfume, toothbrush, lotion, comb,.. thats all i have for now.. :) ill update next month.

o m g  i want a pink mirrorrrr gimmie gimmie . lol. and yes you did note that but my therapist insisted on doing a letter for me and told me it was going to be good enough. i didnt pay for it lol, so it was just something i was trying to see will it stick. but yes! this reinsures future chett patients lol. i will have to add the razor to my list! thanks! and yea.. i figured i would have to wait for the stitches to go away. this is so stressful lol, cant wait till its over. lol! i laugh at the thought of wearing a dress. for some reason i picture a blue jean pencil skirt and my hair up in a catholic bun! most def not my style lol..ill have to go dress shopping

well the good news is ya don't have to go like your bout to join a convent :P lol just get a long flowing skirt and a cute top and you should be set. the razor is because you will be there bout a weak and if you are anything like me it'll drive you up the wall....  it just bugged me out, what made it worse was some cute French guy showed up to talk and ask questions as he was doing some studying  :o lol I sat there like a scared child hold the sheet over my face... so embarrassing lol and of course him being cute didn't help either ^-^

Check the glue line on your neck that holds your head on!!  At this time last year I was in my final 10 days of count down, and my Op did not require international travel!!  I actually ended up with a bumper thumper accident I was so scatterbrained about now.  Congratulations, and it does sound you are getting all your duck in a row.  Calico is going to have a new baby sister -- awwww!!
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!
