im lonely :/

Hiya

Recently ive been starting to get really lonely!
Im currently living in Sheffield in the UK, and i know no-one here!

I really just want to come out to my housemates, but im scared of what they'll think!!!!
I just sit in my room too much on my own and i feel it is driving my mad!!! :(

I just want some freinds in the area (and then i think coming out to the people i already know will be easier!), but i dont really know where to start! Do any of you ladies have any advice on making friends?

Surely there must be a TG support group that meets within close proximity, you can meet like minded folks at one of those meetings and start from there. Good luck Hon!

Have you checked your area for support groups?  Google seemed to provide a few hits but I don't know the area so I can't be the best of help addy knowing what would be close.

I live in Portland, Oregon and we have the Q Center which is open for all types of queer people and has a very active support group schedule.  I just have to work up the courage to attend something...

Look for LGBT groups in your area. Meetup.com has a lot of stuff.

Try to make friends with other girl/women friends very close by. Just tell them you are & that you would just like a nice normal life. I think you will be suprised if you honest to them & will make supporting new girl friends.

Then have fun & go shopping, maybe.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Im doing alot better now thanks!!!! This last month ive been socialising more and went to Leeds first friday which was fun!!!
I went to belly dancing lessons aswell, just to get out abit more! and ive gone quite a few times now! its sooo much fun, and i am making freinds there which is great!
I came out to my best freind aswell, and we are going out in nottingham at the weekend! and i cant wait, its gonna be great!!

this last month has been crazy!
