I accidently downloaded something nasty to my computer, and I couldn't uninstall it, and it wouldn't let me use system restore. I know nothing about computers but I somehow found a way to get rid of it. Yay! I feel smart.

Interesting day at work, as there was discussion about Tropfest, a short film festival here in Sydney in the park next to my place, I could hear it from my balcony.
The winning film Bamboozled dealt with gender change as it's theme. One of the girls at work was explaining it to me and I found it not hard to smile a bit as I have a big secret.

I had a small mirror in my shower that I used for shaving my face. Although I could only see my face in it, it really added to my dysphoria in the morning because I'd be washing my body and then see my face and just.... So I finally decided to rip the damn thing out! I had a feeling that looking in mirrors too much probably made me feel worse, because I'd overanalyze whenever I caught a glimpse of "female." And three days in, I feel much better for it. If I have to shave, I'll do it at the sink like most people lol.

Guy: So everything is finalized on your end? All submitted?
Me: Not everyone's, but I have finished yours. You should have your grades by the new year.
Guy: Right...so...um...*silence* can I ask you a question?
Me: *thinking to myself* great, here we go again, going to get the transgender question.
Guy: *blabbering* I had a really great time in your class, and I think you're really great...and...I was wondering if you'd want to go out with me some time. You should know though, I have never asked out another guy before...and um, I'm kind of scared because no one knows I'm gay, but I am ready to come out and have a boyfriend!
Me: *stares blankly* Uh...wow, I'm sorry, I'm already dating someone. Thank you though!

Lmao. But seriously he is a VERY handsome man, better looking than I could ever hope to be myself. Even if I was gay, he could do way better. I'm very flattered anyway.
