Called the endocrinologist today and got the financial info taken care of. Being financially stable to not start & stop hormones is a requirement of my therapist and I guess a check to see how serious you are if you call them for that info. Prices won't be bad at all which has me elated right now. I'm just a step away from getting my letter for HRT.

3+ months on the diet and my A1c dropped from 6.9 to 5.9 
Doc wants me on the sugar meds a little longer, but he suggested my endo may take it over along with that other small medical issue I've got Apparently metformin also has anti-androgen properties (though I suspect they're not nearly enough to make up the T-addition that losing so much weight caused).

Nothing but glee for me, though! My endo is in a month.

...and google tells all. Metformin is not an anti-androgen and has no anti-androgen properties... it can help women with PCOS lower testosterone and become fertile because of the "impared carbohydrate metabolism" that comes with the disease. So nada for me

I picked up mom from work and she took me to the Sonic that just opened up in the next town. She said she wanted to take me because she was sad because of how I'd been feeling as of late between the depression and dad being a complete jerk. We sat and had a good time. It felt really good. Next week she said to pick out a movie and we'll go and see it. We are gonna see the second movie from the Lord of the Rings series. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug =] YAY!!!
