My sister came over today and the first thing she said when she walked in the door was "is that a 'tash? There's hair on your chin too, you must be well pleased with that!" and she seemed genuinely happy for me 😀 not only is my facial hair noticeable but my sister seems to be losing her reservations about the whole thing. Double win.

Malachite: My daughter does a similar thing 😀 she sometimes says "I'm a boy!" and I'm like "oh yeah?" and she usually laughs and goes "no not really, I'm a girl; and you're a boy" - what's interesting is she uses boy and girl interchangeably when talking about my partner, and he is pretty gender fluid - they just seem to sense this stuff.

I taught my kids. My oldest knows what's going on, for the most part (he's . My daughters now both say I'm a girl. One switched so much that she's actively trying to help (in a 4 year old way)... she wants me to get rid of the "pricklys" on my face 😉 and she complains when I'm not talking like a girl.

Spending the afternoon with my two besties for the first time since my seizures, played my doctor who dvd game I got christmas, then walked to the shops spent some time there and then came home played some more of the game. They just left a little while ago. Quite a fun day.

I've been introducing my son to long lost art of text adventure gaming. We've been playing around with the utility on http://textadventures.co.uk/quest/ 🔗 as a very gentle way of introducing him to programming and game design. He's having a blast, especially developing amusing responses and consequences for peculiar verb/object combinations (eat the peasant, kick the pig, kiss the old hag, etc.).

Oh and i know what you mean about the giggles at work, i accidentally got a friend of mine in trouble, the manager a few rows back came over to ask her to stop laughing, he could hear her across the room, to which she replied that it was me, and to which he replied again, no i heard you.... lol. My laugh can get into a bit of shrill 😛
