I think I am going to start looking for a better wig that is closer to my natural hair color.  My voice is sounding much more natural these days and I feel that I will be completely comfortable with everything after I don't have such a visible beard shadow (still pre-everything, but starting HRT and LHR in the next couple of weeks)

Do I look female?  I still see a guy when I look at myself in pictures even though I think it's definitely improved over the year!

Edit: I really need to go clean my mirror... lol

I see a, package! .....  ;)

Fila if this is pre-hrt then I think hormones are going to do you something sort of amazing. That, laser, and some toning up and yeah. Another blond vixen to grace the pages of Susans.

I am so lucky to be where I am! :)

@FilaFord, I think the bit of shadow and the way the fat is on your jawline/chin is a clue, but your wig is pretty fabulous and it helps a lot. I'm not sure what I would think in real life, but from the picture, I do think you probably pass, so with HRT you will be doing great! :)

I agree.  From the nose up you've already got a female look.  So some fat redistribution with HRT will definitely help.  And of course getting rid of the beard shadow.  But you're really in a great starting position!

So I took a few photos today as I was trying to see how much weight I have lost, thus far 10kg in 7 weeks. I was 110kgs in January and currently just below 96 and still going strong, so chipping away at it. Here is a few boy photos of my face from today it was 5am so I am still tired looking. I know I have stubble and I am still pudgy but what the heck >.<

Relaxed guys mode pic.

It's hard to say in your guy mode but you seem to have good features and I don't think you'll have a problem passing when you transition.

I think you look really good. It looks like you did a really good makeup job. From that angle you pass just fine. In the third pic you look like 3 times more feminine when you smile, even with the 5 o'clock shadow (literally 5 o'clock shadow xD).

So here's my current look. I'm dressing somewhat between male and female lately to ease myself into full time female. How do I look here? Do you read me as male or female? Would you say that I pass as female in these? I feel like my hips are a really great asset (something I'm just realizing recently), but I know that alone can't really win the day...

The only thing that stands out to me in these is the shape of my hairline, but I've seen lots of cisgender women with similar hairlines and it doesn't really take away from their feminine appearance, so I'm really unsure...

You look more female than male except this one (Oops I see a definite package!)  ???

Really? I don't see it :-/ It's probably just the way the jeans are positioned.

Don't worry hon, you're coming along nicely!

@Riversong Thank you for the reply and you look good.

Although I still struggle with my image a lot as I look 100% male and ugly so I tend to never smile if I can. In fact I never smile >.>

I think my big concern other than weight right now is the fact I do not see anything positive in my image, hence the desire to hide.  In terms of makeup it is 99% bright light hiding the features as the photo was taken in a white bathroom with a camera flash.

Lastly here is a very bad photo with fake lashes, dermablend on the eyebrows to give the illusion of thinner ones and the horrible wig of sticky kid fingers I found in the kids dress up box. Obviously it does not fit, but I still thought why not ask anyway, plus there was no kids home today and I had some makeup I found in the box too. The photo is a bit bright so I look a bit pale :(

So as a older pre-hrt person what do you guys think of my structure do you see anything overly male other than stubble that I can build on given I will be slimmer in the face in a few more months?

Good job on the makeup even with the limited resources, if you can look that pretty before HRT I don't think you need to worry. Your facial shape is round and you have a good hairline and a nice smile. If you are able to I would suggest starting to pluck your brows, nobody will notice if you just take it slowly, a couple of hairs at a time over the course of a month or two.

I'm telling you, bangs will work wonders!  I see a very feminine face with a fairly androgynous hair style.  And your hair is long it really stands out.  Just give it a try, play around with your hair and try to get some bangs going.  Wear a headband if you must.  Some eyeliner and a big smile and take a pic.  Post a picture if you decide to give it a try.  You look great already, just a few minor things I feel could be adjusted.  And yes, I know that's Rougue!

Also your stance and posture on the right picture are somewhat masculine.  Bring your shoulders down and back a little bit and maybe pop your hip to side a little bit.  Dont overdo it, just feel natural with it.  Hope this advice has proven useful!

Agreed. Bangs. Do it.

Also, maybe a darker/bolder color for your lips?

Well, here goes. A little bit of make up (eyeliner, lipstick), padded bra (no much boobs yet  :( ), 6ish months HRT.
Bleh at my hairline/forehead :(

Yes, your hairline is noticeable, but you should be happy its not widows peaking.  Other than that, you look great.  Totally passing and totally beautiful!

Looking great Thylacin, Your very pretty with lovely skin, and, it looks like your hair is filling back in. I had some patches of hair loss and I'm at 6 months too, and I'm getting all mine back. It's possible you will too in time.

Oh, by the way, where've you been girl? I haven't seen any of your posts in a while?

Best wishes! :icon_bunch:

Thank you :D My hair has regrown some since starting HRT, though my high/squarish hairline bothers me a lot.

I got super busy with college work, then found a lot of local support and came out to most of my meatspace (IRL) friends, so I found myself looking for community and support online less and less, though I still check in and lurk from time to time.

I haven't posted a picture of myself here for a while now, but I was just walking by the mirror a moment ago, and I noticed my reflection, and... am I crazy, or am I actually starting to look somewhat passable?

I know there is some room for improvement in the chest department, and I wasn't even wearing makeup or anything like that (which I usually don't), and my face still skews a little masculine, but still... what do you think?
