I have so many compliments regarding "new" hair colour! Feeling a little more confident about myself now :-). Went out for lunch with a few Scottish local girls from this community on Saturday and had a lovely time . Just felt so old in comparison  :embarrassed:. Any way have switched back to brunette for now! The joys of having many wigs to choose from !!! Desperately need to find expert in facial hair removal as don't want to rely on such heavy make up cover when going out. All the young girls I went out with on Saturday had such flawless shadow free complexions!
Any way - plum or brunette for hair colour?

Hmmm.  Both look great on you, but I'd go for the brunette right now.  The plum, being something that stands out more in a crowd, might be something that attracts more attention than you're comfortable with if you're still not satisfied with your general complexion.  The brunette looks utterly natural and might help you blend in with the other girls a little more.

Dressed for work.

Nice, I wish my hair was that long. I'm wearing a wig in my signature lol. Natural hair is about shoulder length!  :D

I like this wig on you better than any of your others I've seen so far. It looks the most natural. Just my $.02.

Allie, Brenda, thanks for your kind comments. For every day wear you are correct. Brunette is a more natural look.Need to  check on electrolysis and laser. Hoping that when I come through second assessment for hrt this will also be offered on nhs.  I have heard conflicting reports- electrolysis could cause scaring while laser is ineffective on white hairs. No point in being made up only for facial hair  to be evident! Beard shadow just freaks me out and heightens my dysphoria. Maybe this should be another topic! Thanks  girls xxx

@Elizabeth1: I like the brunette look the most, but then again as a brunette myself, maybe I am biased :P

Personally, of the two pictures I'd say the one with the plum wig is better--simply because I like how the plum hair color ties in with the necklace and flowers on the dress. Although I think for blending in better and attracting less attention the brunette wig is probably best.

That is correct laser is ineffective on grays, white hairs, blonde hairs, and red hairs. Dark hair with light skin yields the best results with laser. While electrolysis does have a potential for scarring, it is effective on all hair types and colors.

New clothes, makeup and made my own breastforms (though I realllllly need a new filler for them, cotton is not working.. will get some microbeads next time I can go shopping).

What do you think? Is the makeup too much?
I think I need to get a new eyebrow pencil, something a lot lighter, and as much as I love the bold lipstick, I think it's a bit over the top.
Also the wig, still have not been able to go wig shopping. This one is obviously costume quality *sigh* thoughts?

Eyeshadow/blush probably would not hurt either.

You have such a beautiful smile. Yes, a little eyeshadow in the right shade wouldn't hurt nor would a little blush. Oh and I do like the red lipstick. With your complexion and hair color it works. The only suggestion I can give you is to work on your eyebrows a little. Thin them out from the bottom and try and shape them into an arch over your eyes.

My only concern with thinning my eyebrows is that I still haven't told man people and people who do not know will notice... ugh.. I may go ahead and do it.. It is soooo tempting.

I don't have any eye shadow, dark foundation or dark concealer, or blush. I could steal that all from our film supplies.. my SO might kill me though :D

You know, no one seemed to notice my eyebrows no matter what I did to them. IDK why, but it seems like people notice a change but, they can't put their finger exactly on that change.

As far as your look I think you look quite good, but I do feel like the lipstick being so vibrant, with the brows being so dark, and the hair being so light throws the balance off a bit. I bet some lip gloss and maybe just a bit thinner eyebrows would look really natural and really good. In my view, there is no one feature of yours I can just point to and say, "That looks masculine", so I would say so long as you have the confidence you should certainly pass.

Hikari and alaia, thanks again for hair colour comments!
To allie, thanks for backing up my thoughts on electrolysis. Facial hair growth is just killing me- gets me down so bad!! I have a combination of dark and white hairs so I'm torn on the best hair removal treatment between laser and electrolysis?  My back up gender clinic appointment is probably about 2 months away but I can't wait for this meeting!  Maybe both are options. There are groupon discount deals available here in uk but I don't know how transgender friendly many of these salons are. DIY home kits are options but what to go for. Dysphoria getting me down again after my brief periods of elation last week. Annabella, hikari - from your pics you both have beautiful complexions With facial growth not appearing an issue at all! That's wonderful :-). Any thoughts regarding hair removal options would be gratefully appreciated . Restarting anti androgens (spironolactone)could be an option to slow down facial growth but I decided due to bone density fears to dismiss this pending getting my hrt - hopefully in September. This literal dark shadow is threatening to overwhelm me right now :-(

I didn't have a whole lot of facial hair to begin with being Native American, but about a quarter of what I did have had turned gray. I got my own lasers and over the last year have cleared all of the dark hair from my face, and, some of the gray's went with it. What I plan to do for the remaining grays is book electro to get rid of them. By clearing all the dark hairs and some grays myself I've drastically reduced the number of electro sessions I'll need to clear the remaining grays. Thereby saving a good amount of $$.

Should you decide to go this route, the only personal laser devices worth having are the Tria, and the Silk-in Flash-n-Go. I have these and one professional grade laser that treats 60 hairs at a time.

In the meantime I plan to pluck the remaining grays. I've been couped up for two days in my home waiting for them to get long enough to do so.

Hope this helps ya!

Guy I knew shaved his eyebrows off after losing a bet. People would do a double take, then stare at him for a moment until they realized his brows were missing. It seems that brows are one of those things that have an effect on the rest of the face, but as long as they're in some kind of normal range they don't stand out themselves.

I sat across the table from you for hours at the weekend and didn't even realise you were wearing a wig! D:

I was internally jealous of your lovely long hair the whole time! xD

Personally though, looking at the pics, I prefer the brunette colour. While the plum is nice, I think the brunette just looks more natural and "you" (Disclaimer: This is coming from a girl with like 5 colours in her hair, so yeah, do what makes you feel best ^^ )

I need to get some electrolysis too though >.> Most people seem to think I have already had it done because I have very fine and very light hair, but nooooope!!!

It's a daily battle for me to shave as close as possible without causing myself razer burn...it may not be as noticeable looking at me...but you can bet that I can feel and obsess over even the tiniest grain of sand like facial hairs :(

@Wynternight - You look pretty good in those pics, but it's hard to see how your makeup turned out. The pictures are too bright and have your face mostly washed out.
