For some reason I'm always a day late posting what made me happy today  ::)
Last week I was half way to my GIC appointment when they called to say my doctor had phoned in sick, she called yesterday & my new appointment is this Thursday!!!
I love the Laurels, they're unbelievably quick getting replacement appointments sorted.

Carnival in Trinidad ended last night and my friends are posting photos of them and their friends in their lovely costumes.

Normally this would make me sink into depression because dysphoria would kick my ass.

But not today.

Why? I look at those pictures and I think, oh wait a minute that almost looks like ME when I look in the mirror!

My hair is behaving, noticed I've lost a little weight (but not from the good places. ;) ), and realised that summer is almost over....

This is a fine way to start the day. :)

The closer it get to tomorrow at noon the more excited and nervous I'm getting, first time meeting with a therapist.

After much trial and error, I think I finally finished my final project for school which is a computer program for a coworker.

Browsing this forum!....... :icon_yes:

Having spent the last 33 years in stealth, it`s lovely to now see others like myself, sharing life as a supportive and sharing community........not having to be the isolated and oft`scorned souls we {MtF} were, when transitioning in the late 70`s.

GF, your hormone level is so female. I know you must feel great. I thought my level was high. I'm excited to finally see my Doc for Monday to discuss & hopefully have an implant. Patches have been nice however I'm just tired of changing them so ofter & having some skin irritation. I'll be a happy girl with an implant.

Feel sooo good... Thanks  :-*

Looking to move to implant soon, still on oral currently... Wonder what that will do   >:-) (anticipation)

Oops noticed bad spelling of testesterone... Shows how long ago I last thought of the word

Good luck with Dr visit Monday xoxo

I used to be on patches many moons ago, I got skin Irritation too, so went on oral as I could not get to Dr's regularly for intravenous!

Hugs

After a month on spironolactone and about 3 weeks on estradiol, I've been getting some warm tingling in my chest... I'm happy, though concerned it miight just be the cold weather... :)

Are moving along the path, Jeni! I am feeling stalled out. ON spiro for almost a month and not noticing anything. Have almost another 2 months until my next appointment with endo. I am hoping to add small dose of E at that time.
  •

jeni

Yeah, I'm hoping hoping hoping right now. Hard to be patient....

I don't think it's too surprising that spiro alone isn't causing many effects, but I bet it is doing more than you notice behind the scenes. Sorry you have such a wait ahead though, but it only seems like a long time from this side of the wait. It's not long in the scheme of things!

Today I thought about my life and I cried out of pure Joy. Ooh and I caught a guy giving me an "interested" double take, we looked into each others eyes and both looked away shyly...BLISS.  :eusa_dance:

I've ordered Luv & Hugs for everyone, I'll pop them in the post.  :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch:

Picked up my new Climara patches today. They seem so nice, 2-3 inches & oval shape, nice daily dosage of E & they last a week so that's nice. To be honest it was giving me fits remembering let's see, it's Sunday then Thursday, what day is this?.........with 3.5 day patches.  Happy girl today.
