Kind of related to the bouncing thread that's popular at the moment, but I thought that instead of perhaps hijacking it, I'd create a new thread about it.

So I've been experiencing these strange strains on my chest muscles, especially between the breasts since I've been growing them pretty darn fast. (Exactly three months on HRT, full A cup already.) Is this something that folks experience usually? It seems logical since the muscles and other surrounding tissue are probably quite perplexed by this sudden growth of new body parts, but just curious. And I guess it's time to start looking into getting bras again. I haven't worn them since I started HRT and stopped using my prosthetic breasts that kind of required them to not fall on the floor (which wouldn't help with passing all that much, I guess).

I think so. Do you also have hard tissue behind your nipples i.e your breasts are soft until your grope them?

I've read that's normal

Yep, I have that ring shaped hard tissue around under the nipple.

I've only been on hormones for a month and I've felt some muscle soreness on my chest

Well you're getting used to it and you have quite a lot of growth; I am on HRT for 3 months aswell and I doubt I made it to cup A, yet theyre visible. Its unpredictable how much more youll grow naturally but sounds like you're well off so far

Remember when bra-shopping:
1) Yours are still growing, unsure where it will end
2) Your torso isnt a 16 year old girl one's probably so you need to get the measurements done properly. Your endo probably does that already if you see one

Measurements is easy. At least it was for me first time I got around to it. Plenty websites to tell you how to do it, all you need is a measuring tape.

Yeah, I've done measurements and I know my bra size pretty well when I combine that with the experiences I had while I had the prosthetic boobs. But yeah, I'm not going to invest a lot to them right now since I am pretty sure to continue growing for a while still.

Feeling pretty lucky to develop this fast in that department and hoping to keep it going although it's impossible to predict what'll happen.

The chest muscles are also now supporting a bit of weight that they weren't before. :) It's not necessarily much, but even a little bit will tire muscles after hours and hours!

I had something similar when I hit a B cup in month 2; I honestly think it's that the growth was fast enough that it was outpacing the muscles' ability to gradually increase in strength. A bra *should* help, especially if you get a very supportive one.
