I finally got the nerve up to post a picture of myself. A few weeks ago I was with my friend and her sister in law and she taught me everything about makeup so I did the whole 9 yards and hung out with them as a girl. It was really great to just be myself with someone for the first time ever. I hate my arms and shoulders. I never work out but they seem to broad and defined :(

Your back kind of far, but I don't see anything wrong with your passing skills!  :)
  •

Riven

So if i just keep 7 feet away from everybody at all times I should be fine? Is that what you're saying? :)

NO! Don't get me wrong, I just can't see your face and makeup, nothing else. I would do anything for your body shape though!  :)

Hmm, my reply went into the etherland.

Her is a repeat. It is good to see that rest of you looks as good as the legs we are used to seeing. At least now we know there is more to you than pretty legs. Seriously though, you look real good.

Don't worry about Jessica, she just wants to see you close up.

Furball!!  :D

I love to see how people do their makeup. I might get some new ideas! An old lady like me has to stay up to date on these things.  :)

Haha, thanks. I don't think I've ever posted a picture of myself; legs or otherwise. I cropped it a bit. I was so nervous to be in front of people as me.

Girl, you are adorable! I love the smile. You should have no problem passing from what I see.  :)

I finally decided to put a picture on my profile too. I transitioned many many years ago though.

I've been waiting to transition for years now but the Military says I'm not allowed to be human.

So I'm just waiting and watching the news for this stupid ban to be dropped.

Very nice!  You look really good.  If you do HRT you will be beautiful.  Seriously, stunning.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

You girls are really too kind! I'm really excited to see what HRT will hold for me. I'm considering so many things like a new name and what kind of girl I want to be when I can live honestly.

Quote from: Riven on July 27, 2014, 07:07:51 PMI hate my arms and shoulders.

I think you look really cute and your arms and shoulders are OK. In fact, I think they're considerably less masculine than those of TV star Jaime Pressly. I was watching her on her new "Jennifer Falls" show the other day in a sleeveless to and she looked like she could take on a linebacker. But she can also dress really hot. Like all girls, you just have to dress for your figure. Emphasize your assets and underscore the rest.

I didn't think she looks that bad. Thanks though!

You look fabulous! :)  As for the arms etc... don't fear that. I get it all the time from guys "You look great babe... I can tell, you workout!  :icon_wink:" ...lol  And I say "Yes", because I do workout...lol 3 to 4 times a week ...but I never do ANY upper body exercises. :-D

Thank you for your service sister.. I'm prior US Navy... OS2(SW)

Thank you for your service as well! Is OS2 an officer? I'm not sure if that's a rank or profession sorry :(

I don't understand why you waited so long to post your photo. Such a figure, such a smile....
You look gorgeous.
I don't have a gender issue.
I love being a girl.

You are absolutely gorgeous! You have a really great figure. Honestly, from that picture, if I saw you in public I wouldn't look twice... except to see your pretty face again! :) Seriously, I really hope the military gets rid of that ban soon, it's so unfair to try and block perfectly normal and functional people from serving just because they didn't get to be their gender the same way as others.... Stay strong!

Gawd Riven, you look terrific already girl! Your shoulder/hip/waist ratio is perfect, stop being so insecure you're going to slay them all with your great shape and pretty looks! Hope you, Jamienicoled and other ex-service are plugged into VA, spent time in the paratroops in VN and they take great care of me kids. Endo, meds et. al. free!

Enlisted.. Petty officer second class.. I was a working class E5 girl...lol  OS=Operation Specialist (Scope Dope...lol) I did AIC... air intercept controller. I sent info between ships and aircraft for weapons systems. I worked in CIC (Combat Information Center) on the ship. Basically Intel Ops.
Ah I see. Don't worry, navy was my second choice too :) I'm an e4 myself and get to test for staff NCO next cycle :) wouldn't be bad at my 4 year mark.

Thanks. My friend saw this picture of me and said it was a shame he was already married, haha. Honestly if the ban is dropped I might stay in after 6. If not I'll have to move on with my life. I can't imagine the ban lasting much longer. It seems like the issue is being looked at by the media and the pentagon cracks under attention pretty quickly. Is anybody in the know or have any strings to pull and can let me in on how that's going that'd be great!

thank you :) some of my pictures look great and some look not so great. I'm really just banking on the ban being dropped and getting HRT underway before I'm even out.
