But in a positive light. When I moved away from Spokane due to how I was treated in regards to my gender with in days of my leaving Spokane had one of the worst snow storms they had seen in possibly 50 years. I came back that spring to take my mom for an appointment. It hadn't improved. Next Winter he shoved another one down them. So I think it's in your favor and not your parents favor. If they don't take a hint as to how to treat you it will happen again. Hugs

There might be some symbolism in this.  I figured it might be related to my transition, lol.

Lol if that was the case, then my father's place would be a complete wreck.  He doesn't live with me, and mom doesn't *officially* know yet.

My mum called me her son in front of her friend that she hadn't seen for years, that's the first time she has ever said that word since coming out. I think she is finally beginning to take baby steps in accepting me  ;D

My wife and I were entering our local Home Depot today, and the woman who welcomes everyone, said "Good afternoon Ladies!". I turned to my wife with a big smile on my face. She heard it too! Her comment, though, was 'that is weird'. Oh well! Still good for me!

Today we had several move-ins in the development I live in. As I was walking to get the mail two lost movers in a truck asked me where the exit was. The were headed in just the wrong direction. I pointed and told them and they passed me to turn around. As they passed me again the man in the passenger seat leaned out to look at me, puzzled.

I just knew her was trying to decide if I was a man or a woman. I'm not offended. I'm elated to be on the ambiguous stage. It's better than being misgendered. After all, I wasn't wearing anything obvious to gender me by.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

My 'new' computer I've just built up from parts works perfectly.  No glitches, no problems or hardware issues   ;D  :eusa_dance: :icon_dance: :icon_geekdance:

I've always built up my own computers from parts obtained from computer recyclers & etc and this new computer will be replacing my old rat-tech machine that I've been using for the past decade.  My old rat has had about 4 different motherboards installed in it over the course of its life and countless different CPUs, graphics cards, power supplies and other misc hardware, but I decided it was finally time for a fresh start with a new modern tower case instead of the rat's old hacked about case.

I got a new tattoo

And yesterday I was told by a teenage girl she loved my sense of style.
"Maybe I really joined with them to keep the loneliness at bay.
Yet in the end, you couldn't make it go away. Others could rely on you, but you couldn't rely on them."

"She's a little scared to get close to anyone because everyone who said, "I'll always be here for you," left."

OMG!  Marty Friedman just announced tour dates and he will be playing the Whisky in Sept.  I haven't seen him in years.  I got to hang out with him a few times in the past and even got some really excellent free guitar lessons from him.

I don't think he's going to recognize me this time.  ;D

That's amazing!

Yes, I was shocked!!! But there it was, seat, post and bolts all tied nicely in a plastic shopping bag and hung on the bike rack

That would have never happened when I lived in Calif. When something was gone it was just gone

I was really happy because I really don't like to have to stand to ride all the time and I really didn't need one more unplanned expense this month

Emergency SRS, anyone?

Living in CA, I don't think I'm getting my old Marshall Stack or my wife's '66 Mustang back anytime soon. Le sigh...

I know what you mean Mariah. I just moved away from Spokane last August. Loved the place. But the people, not so much.
...as for what made me happy today. Simple as it is, I got a nice little nap after work.

I feel for ya, it's amazing how some personal items can grow legs

I still reminisce about a couple of Les Pauls, one Gold Top and a Double Cutaway and a black Am.Strat and Butterscotch Tele with maple and a Fender twin and Marshall's answer to the Fender twin and the pedal board

I used to play a sweet Ovation bass guitar..maybe we oughtta form a band?

"Victoria's Other Secret"! I swear I'm getting a T-shirt made even if you never form that band, Jill.

The dress code at my new employer explicitly states that no piece of clothing or jewelry mentioned in it is excluded from wear by any any staff regardless of it's traditional gender appropriateness. Same with hair. I'm gonna stick with gender neutral a bit longer until I get my beard shadow under control but I did wear the transparent, iridescent pink polish I got for my birthday to work yesterday.

Holy crap, that's a lot of gear.  Bastards!!!  The only guitar I ever had stolen was a 1973 Fender P-Bass.  Some butthole smashed the rear window of my Bronco and the cops didn't even bother to show up to file a report that I could show to my insurance company for any kind of reimbursement.  I miss that bass!  Can't say I miss the OJ Simpson Bronco though.

I've lost countless mics, stands and cables at gigs though.  The other bands always seem to pilfer them.  This is why I tend to buy used mics.  Actually, one time I swear I even bought my stolen Shure 57 back from the bastard who took it.

Anyway, what made me happy today?  I get to go to a Dodger game tonight for free, have a girls' night out (and 2 of us are trans  ;D), get a free Dodger Hello Kitty doll and eat at a nice restaurant all because our friend Bill is completely awesome.
