I finally managed to go to the optician and look for new frames. Predictably, it's a difficult choice ;). Anyone care to have a look at the pics and comment? I'm looking for the pair that makes my face the least feminine. I have a favorite, and there are two that I think don't work at all, but I'll shut up now  :P

Gawd, did I mention I hate my face......

I like the second one. I think I heard guys should go for square frames? I don't wear glasses so I am not experienced in that department.

I think they all look just a tad fem, sorry  :-\. Wire frames tend to look feminine and the last two that are thicker are curved slightly so look feminine. I would perhaps go with the last one, suits your face and the frames match your hair colour or the 3rd option. I have to wear glasses, I hate my face too...
They/them pronouns preferred.

Thanks, guys.

Elis, anything I put on will always look femme. It's my face, it can't be helped at the moment. I have dark horn-rimmed ones now, they still look femme. All of the frames in the pics are unisex or men's...

Unfortunately, this is as good as it gets at the moment. I actually think I look most andro without glasses, but my eyes are too messed up to go with contacts more often than once in a while.

Hey, I didn't want to put you down. I definitely like the last pair of frames, they look masculine.

Adrian, I think that the last two are the most harmonious shapes for your face, and also appear to be closer to the right size for you.

Little steps, my friend....

Hey, no worries. You didn't say anything wrong. It's just my frustration with my body seeping through. I just looked into too many mirrors today. Sorry!

Thanks, Julia.

It's weird. When I look at the pics, the third and fourth frame strike me as the most feminine. Clearly Elis and you see something different from me....

Argh. I know why I had been putting getting new ones off [emoji17]

I think your best bet would be the second one. It's probably the most masculine out of all of them, and it looks good with your face. Quite frankly I don't think you look that feminine in general. I think the lips would definitely put me off a little, but they look pretty reddish in those pictures, so I don't know if that's a natural thing for you or not.

Thanks, lion. Yeah, those lips. Women would probably kill for them  [emoji12]. They look extra red in the pic, for some reason, but yeah... Lets hope I'll have some facial hair to hide them one day. [emoji15]

I like no.2, I think they are more to the style you should be looking at

Just a thought but if that pair had thinner arms particular around the face area (yes its plain but it looks a little thick). They would scream male a lot more
Do not fear those who have nothing left to lose, fear those who are prepared to lose it all

I agree with the others. The 2nd one looks most masculine in my opinion and it looks good on you.

I also vote for frames #2 They give the right blocking to help masculinize your features.

I'll see if I can try on a few more. The problem is, I have fairly bad eyesight and the glasses will be quite thick. This doesn't work with all frames. It's complicated [emoji13]

Well I like #1!

And hey, you are one handsome man. Don't knock yourself, you will be a really good looking guy when T does its magic on you.
  •

adrian

Thank you, Cindy.

It's hard sometimes to keep thinking positively, but I know I should try. [emoji25]

Enough of that young man.

You are a Prince of the Universe and you and all transmen should be incredibly proud of being such awesome human beings.

All of your dreams will come true, it just takes time.

Not yet, going back to the store next Friday [emoji16]  So I have another week to make up my mind ;). Strongly leaning towards the second pair.
