Pre-T, I already "kinda" passed, Ive always looked very androgynous and always got the confused "sir...errr...ma'am?". Once my voice got a little lower, however, I 100% of the time get sir'd, strangely enough even when they see my ID when buying beer (it still has my legal name and says female.)
My voice never had a sudden "drop". Just a gradual decrease in tone. It became noticeably lower around 2 months, and is still slowly changing now at 9 months.
As for exercise, exactly like invisiblemonsters said. Increase your calories by about 200-500cal above your BMR (basal metabolic rate) a day. This can be found out easily from online calculators. Remember to factor in calories burned through exercise or activity during the day too, and add that amount to your BMR. Eat at least 0.8 to 1gram of protein per day, per pound of body weight. For instance I weigh about 130lbs and eat between 100-130g of protein per day. This is easily done with protein shakes, as they usually contain 25-30g per scoop. If you have never lifted weights before, don't worry. All the information you need to get yourself started can easily be found for free on YouTube and
bodybuilding.com.
Bodybuilding.com has a huge exercise database that lists nearly every possible exercise for each muscle group, and has video tutorials on how to do them. Now they are obviously a business and will make it seem as if you need a million supplements to get results, you don't however. Protein powder isn't even needed, but it makes it a whole lot easier (and cheaper) to eat a high protein diet. I'd recommend just a good whey protein powder and perhaps a multivitamin, that's all. Don't waste all kinds of money on supplements, unless you want to. I buy preworkouts for the energy, and I take a multivitamin, fish oil and glucosamine for my joints (bad joints thanks to the army).
Also the key thing to remember is that changing your body takes time, you won't see results from working out or the testosterone overnight. Patience is key in this process, I know it sucks and you want it all now, even I have to remind myself to stay patient. But you will get there. Just remember, this is not your final form! Lol
