That is fantastic and a tough thing to do for the first time. I must admit I did find going full-time a huge psychological relief. I hope you have fund and enjoy all the "first time" sensations and challenges of being out and about fulltime.

Well today I went to the orthopedic doctor for a follow up from an MRI. Let me set the scene. On entry there is a check in desk with a check out side next to it. I followed an older lady in and her daughter about my age. We were standing in line which had backed up behind me a few people. So the girl at the checkout desk motioned toward me and said MAM! The lady in front of me thought she was talking to her as did I at first but the girl at the check in desk was just finished with the person before her. The girl on the check out desk said no I meant HER behind you. I'm sure they don't get many trans women by there, and I've only been there twice before but she remembered me coming in. Funny, the couple of times before I just had on old man work jeans and a tee shirt. This time I had a tee shirt and some Levi's 515 boot cut that followed my legs shape. My hair and glasses are still the same. Although it is currently colored a real stand out deep red color under the floresent lights or in the sun. Just barely getting long enough I don't have to wear a ball cap anymore. I ought to get the back trimmed as its longer than the sides and front but I can't bring myself to do that yet. Maybe when my sides get down to shoulder length I'll get a cut to even it all out.

First day of my two-day hair transplantation treatment, in Budapest, Hungary. Arrived 2 days ago together with my wife and two boys and extensively visited the city. Really pleasant and beautiful, despite temperatures of 37°C! Local goulash is reaaaally delicious!

Budapest is an amazing city.  The Irish Cat Pub used to have good food but I was there in 2001, so who knows now.

My company has the same document.  Ours is 10 pages.  3+ in terms and definitions, 2 paragraphs for the transitionee, 6+ pages for everyone else.

Not a lot of ours pertains to the transitioner either really.  A decent "to do" checklist but a lot of that gets triggered automatically when there is a legal name change. Most was for manager and definitions etc for the "colleagues that are transitioning with you".
Might not be an exact quote.

Whole thing came in handy as a way to approach my manager.  Left a copy of it on her desk last Thursday night  (I was off Fri-Sat-Sun) along with a note about needing to talk to her about it.
