All my Old Navy clothes came in and they all fit nicely! My wife commented about my pants being cute and I was pretty chuffed. Two pairs of skinny jeans and a tall & curvy pair, along with four shirts. I would definitely recommend shopping at Old Navy online, since they do have a tall and curvy section that is meant to fit us tall girls. ^_^

So at dinner tonight my wife and I were discussing our upcoming 20th anniversary next March.  We are wanting to renew our vows.  Tonight she mentioned having the wedding at the zoo that she works at.  She couldn't decide if she wants it at the flamingo island or inside the boat that houses the saltwater aquarium.  She said that if we do the flamingo island that she wants us and the chaplain on the island with the birds while everyone else is outside the fence.  What got me was that she said being on the island might ruin our dresses.  "Our dresses".  My heart went into a flutter and I was so happy to hear her say that.  I'm now on cloud nine because of one little comment.

Hi girls 🙋🏼  Two things made me happy today.  The first one was making an appointment with a group meeting of transgender women at my healthcare facility.  Second I bought a cute pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans.

What made me happy a few days back was taking a picture of myself and being so happy with it, I'm using it as my new avatar.

I got my doctor's letter for the US passport office today, with the correct language to get a 'permanent' 10 year passport!  Time to head to the postmaster's office..
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Thank you.  I just can't wait to go wedding gown shopping.  I do plan on something rather simple.  :)

I just finished my appointments with my endocrinologist and therapist. This is the first time I've gone completely dressed, and they were thrilled to "see" me. Black top with big flowers, black knee-length a-line skirt, 2" heels, wide-brim floppy hat ( to hide the thinning hair on top), shiny clear nail polish. Oh, and my Mom's old wedding ring on my little finger (more on that in a different thread).

I had good news for my therapist about coming out to Mom and sister with a great outcome, and the endocrinologist had great news for me. He's doubling my spiro and tripling my estradiol! I also showed him a printout of the web page for Gliaglis ( the self-occluding numbing cream that Kendra discovered, and he put in a prescription for it. He's never heard of it and wants me to report back. Once I get it it'll be time to start the laser treatments for the dark hairs, followed by electrolysis for all those gray ones.

After that I took a bunch of deep breaths, and due to my therapists urging, I'm now sitting in a restaurant and eating lunch. This is my first time out alone fully dressed, and so far everything is normal except my heart rate. I'm keeping my nose in my phone trying to be inconspicuous. Admittedly I'm cheating a bit. This is a known-friendly part of town.

I just wiped my face and got lipstick on the napkin. This is so cool!!

This actually happened yesterday, but I didn't get home until very late and I didn't have time to post it.
Several great things:
Drove up to Kansas City for my therapist appointment (as Sarah), and ended up walking a bit around Westport (it's a VERY LGBT+ friendly area).
Went to several stores (solo) - Target, Kohls, and even the mall!
Young lady working at the shoe store said 'You're looking beautiful today.'   :D, and we had a nice little chat.
Ate dinner out with friends, then went to a movie. My first time doing both of those things as Sarah.
The only odd look I got the entire day was the woman running the self-checkout lane at Target, who looked a little nervous as she had to give me the spiel for their discount card (that could have been unrelated to me, though!).

Oh, and I got two new pairs of shoes!    :D :D
Also, yesterday marked one month on HRT!

I'm happy that I have my wife especially after my terrible day. She has been nothing short of amazing ever since I dropped the trans bomb a couple of months ago. She has come leaps and bounds since that first talks when I was pretty sure we weren't going to make it. She is now going to a therapist to deal with being a trans wife and I am starting to feel our whole relationship strengthening by the day. I'm so proud of her! She also starts a new job that she's really excited for and she's earned it!

This morning,  after 4 months living full-time,  I took all my old boy clothes to the charity recycling drop. They've been sitting in my room,  a bit like a ghost,  but gone now [emoji5].

Hi gang!

Got my BA done this past Tuesday and everything is going great!  Minimal pain, just some tightness, and so grateful for an awesome surgeon.  :-)

Girl talk with my doctor's nurse assistant when she had been all business before. It was the first time I went there as myself. I told her it was one of my favorite surprises I've discovered since going full time.

;D ;D ;D
