Josie, I remember those days.  You still have so much goodness and joy ahead of you.  Such an incredible path you have at your feet.  Relish these changes as you daily become who you are.

I also remember the bumping of the boobs, ouchies.  Now my friends just use mine as pillows when the are sleepy...LOL :)

Getting off social media for a few hours...mostly Facebook. I'm tired of all the political crap, arguments in groups I belong to, and just over all media overload.
Today is first day in a long time I've not checked out my Facebook. Feels good.

I hear ya, sister!

I learned a few years ago, and still need an occasional education-booster, that for me, all that noise was not only triggering, but actually unnecessary. I have been FAR happier NOT knowing what people are saying and doing, especially family and 'friends'. Good for you! I feel it is often in our best interests to step away from that which does not nourish or nurture, in favor of experiencing real life things in our actual lives, things which we can actually impact, and improve, and be improved by, in the process...

I've been on FB less than 10 minutes this New Year, and that was to retrieve some photos. Enough is enough, lol..

I am happy that I awoke happy this morning, at 8 am, after having gone to bed upset and triggered by trauma memories and a difficult interaction. I had just bought the first bottle of Melatonin in ages the other day, and I had one before bed, and slept like a baby straight through the night. For most of my life, I had horrible nightmares EVERY night, but I did the appropriate therapies, and the introspective work such therapies require, and I am very much healed and beyond that now. Still, any close brush with similar, unresolved issues in others can elicit fresh concerns, but happily, that did not happen last night. I had an awesome dream, slept very deeply, and I sprung out of bed an hour ago, joyful, and ready to work...

Life can be all it is cracked up to be. But we do have to do the work, and apply known principles, be courageously honest with ourselves, and be diligent in attending to our self-care and emotional needs.

Lovely day to be alive!!

Thanks everyone. It feels really good to be a homeowner again after being forced out of the family home 7 years ago. This house I get to decorate the way I want it decorated.

Agreed, Alora your smile is wonderful!!

Thank you Missy and Sarah. I feel absolutely incredible. I feel so at home with this hair that I went to the grocery store and didn't even think twice. There was a min of apprehension, but I walked right in, and the first person I say was the security guard and I flashed him the biggest smile I had and he just smiled back at me.

Good job!!!

Life is good. Selling some property in a cold area of the country & moving back to Florida. I can't wait!!! New place & new friends soon.......Maybe lots of new women friends to shop with, cook with.....& maybe a new man or two to date in time. I would sure enjoy some new romance......Also hope to follow through with my GRS to enjoy a more complete life.  Happy Dance but moving oh such fun, my last move I hope.

I will be traveling to Europe this Spring for 2 months to visit family and friends for the first time since I started transitioning and found an apartment for that time. Yesterday I told my "to be landlord" about me being trans and she was totally cool about it, asking what my preferred pronouns and name will be. I was totally stunned by this and never expected something like that.

It certainly made my weekend and I'm so glad I will be able to travel as my true self and not being forced to go there in male mode.

I guess it's now time to come out to a broader spectrum of friends and extended family as they otherwise will expect a guy to show up....

Hugs
-Jessica

Feel free to PM me, I'm happy to help, don't be shy... :)

Well, cutie, I have no idea how you pass as a 'guy' anywhere you go, all I see is a gorgeous babe in your profile pics. Sometimes we are the last to see what is obvious to others, namely, that there isn't any guy left to show up anywhere..

Have a great trip, my guess is that had you not said anything to the landlord, all you would have gotten would have been 'ma'am, miss, she, her'...
