Hey! I'm Lyra, 22 years young. Known I was a women since before i can remember just always kept ignoring it and trying to live "normally". That was fine and dandy and all but when I met my biological sisters I told them right off the bat and started my journey :] Have been out to a handful of people for about a year but decided I wasn't getting any younger and jumped straight to full-time :3 Today is day two and i am probably the happiest I have ever been in my entire life, tomorrow i go in for blood tests so i can start HRT and I still can't believe its all happening finally. I've trolled around here as a guest for awhile but decided it was time to make an account and properly say hello and start contributing to the community in hopes i can find some friends, maybe even irl. Hope your all having a lovely day out in the world ! <3

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi, Lyra!   You've found a great place, with lots of good advice and friendly people.  Welcome!

And wow!  Straight to full time, and just starting the HRT process!  That's pretty impressive.  You sound like a pretty darn determined girl.  Congratulations!

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
