The All New 'Before & After' Topic (v 4.0)

I remember when I started this journey, I remember looking in the mirror and thinking that I was going to be 'one ugly woman'. Then I found the 'before and after' photos of others, and they gave me hope. I don't know if this set of photos will help anyone else, but I wanted to post them in honor of my one-year full-time anniversary. So far my only surgery has been a trachea shave. I wish all of you the best of luck on your journeys.

Don't they do any boarding on Lake Michigan?  There was always the chance to catch a vessel from Wisconsin!

Oh there are boardings in Lake Michigan. I was stationed at an admin office though. Tasked with the ultra dangerous task of transporting sensitive documents to the national archives most of the time lol

Yikes! Found some old pics going through a picture frame. It's been a while since I've seen these. In order, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, today. Funny how high school year book photographers can pull a smile out of you when you are at your lowest. I remember that day perfectly. Forced to wear a suit and tie and 3 days earlier, my mom made me cut my hair because she didn't want me to look like a girl in my year book photo... and yes, I played football lol. I was starting bench warmer and was typically daydreaming about being one of the cheerleaders
