Like the back of my hand...

I'm more of a reader than a poster, but something weird has happened, almost unnoticed. About twenty years ago I was having another drunken night with mates and we got into the 'smiley' dare, which is a kind of stupid toughness challenge. You heat up a cigarette lighter by letting it burn for a certain time (the longer the 'better') and then pressing it onto your skin and holding it there for ten seconds without flinching. Needless to say I did a great job. Sixty second burn time, full ten pressing it onto the back of my hand. So for the weeks after I had a huge blistery weeping sore on my hand, which left a pretty bad scar. It's always been there. Never tans, always looks ugly.

It's all but gone. I was looking at my skin thinking how it was kind of dry, and then had a wtf moment. The only thing I've done any different was taking a low dose of E and P. Truly fascinating. The human body is a very interesting thing. I'm not sure what the processes behind this healing are, but it's happening. I guess I don't know myself as well as I thought  :D

I'm just happy that the "bowl burn" I put on my arm when I was a teenager finally faded away....

something like this at play I think:

Since I'm on HRT, I feel my whole body, spots on my skin, my aching knees... being renewed.

it's E power

Oh my, I wanted to cry when I read your post! (and i did, lol)This gives me hope that all the burns from my rough childhood might fade from my body. I want this to so be true! Seeing those reminders of my past slowly fade would help me heal on so many levels.

I have thousands of scars on my arms and I do not think they have faded a lot since HRT perhaps some. It is summer and they are much more noticeable. I have scars on other places. I was bit by a dog ( Rottweiler ) 30 plus years ago on my shoulder. I wore a sleeveless blouse last week at work and a guy said wow look at that scar (not that is a nice blouse). I had two very ugly vertical scars on my left wrist that are fading. I can still see them but less so.

Joints are where I have had awesome results. My right knee and fingers are like when I was 20. I use to have arthritis's in them. My joints are like someone oiled them.

Yup, seems like something's going on at a cellular level. I'm 40 and had a conversation with a client (in broken English) about how you have to do some crap jobs to make ends meet and support your family, pay the mortgage etc, and she was like, "Well that's something you're going to find out when you're older, what are you, 25?"
Wasn't sure whether to be insulted or flattered  ;D

Her daughter walked in right at that point while I was stammering about being 40, and the conversation left the rails while I got back to business.
