Eat less meat, especially red meat. Eat more vegetables and fruits. No hamburger, coke, junk food. Drink a lot of water every day, especially half an hour before taking breakfast. Do exercise every day, at lease half an hour. Relax and be happy.

Blood clots are generally prevented with coumadin, which is a close cousin of the compounds in D-Con rat poison.  Therefore, you could prevent clots by increasing your daily consumption of rat poison, but I really wouldn't recommend it.

My oncologist prescribes it for me, so I take his advice.

.... And a nice glass of wine :)

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

I had 3 DVTs in my right leg in 1993. I was on Coumadin until 1999 when they put a greenfield filter in me. I still take a aspirin when I fly. They told me to avoid foods high in vitamin k, which pork and spinach come to mind. Staying hydrated helps. Outside of that, I don't know. In my case, I have post phlebetic leg syndrome, which basically is chronic lymphedema. My right calf and thigh are larger diameter than my left. I wear a compression stocking on that leg most of the time.

Just watch your potassium intake if you're on Spiro eating off the list. It may get somewhat out of control. Best in moderation if you're stuck with abnormally high potassium levels.
