This a simple poll to gauge our self perception. I think most of us know if we pass or not. This is a twist, you tell us if you pass rather than the other way around.

I definitely pass as half man, half woman.  :)

Very situational for me I think. I don't pass any close inspection,  but just milling through crowds,  I'm not conscious of many stares. I get more looks when I'm in a skirt or dress,  but that probably applies for cis-women too.

98% of the time I would say yes. I have been called she, her, ma'am, young lady, ect for quite sometime. Naturally it feels nice and right. As if this is how it should have always been. However, Wednesday I was at a job interview and I must say I looked quite feminine, and I was ''he'd'' :/ . Hadnt had that happen in a long time so naturally I was both kinda shocked and upset. I guess it is my voice that give it away?? I dont know why he did that.

In anycase that was one time vs 900 other times the past while so atleast I am on the right road :)

I'm going to preemptively say "No" even though I haven't started my transition yet, because I'm 6'2", have a jawbone that could plow a wheat field, and have an upper body built like a brick outhouse. As I like to put it, "I'm going to pass like a kidney stone."

Pessimistic? Maybe.

Nope, not one bit.  I do have male fail sometimes though though mainly because I act girly and dress a bit femme.  I have a gay coworker that keeps hitting on me, so I definitely give off a vibe.
you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

Don't give a...

A van driver did shout ->-bleeped-<- ! whilst I was walking along. I was ok with it until I realized I was wearing biker boots, jeans, baggy t-shirt and a frown  ;) I just give them the finger and shook my head.  >:(
If I'm in full " girl " mode I seem to fade into the background. Do I pass ? **ck knows.

I usually pass 100% but after being outed by a child recently I'm going to say I pass 98% of the time.

I feel like I do? but I could be wrong

I would love to say yes.  But I can't.  I have days where I pass, and days where I don't.  It all depends on the observer.

My hair, my unstable voice, my inflections, and some minor actions; all combine to make me not pass.  I am passing more frequently though.

Every day I go about my business and I get called Mam, woman, she ,her by all whom I encounter. So long as it is clear that I am presenting myself as a woman I get treated that way...so I guess if that's passing then I pass....until of course I don't.

Yes as long as I'm dressed appropriately.  Going too dressy or too casual gets me outed everytime.

Attitude also helps.  Being nervous is a huge tell.  Be who you are.  Own who you are.  Be confident in who you are.

Observe others and mimic.

Pass 100% of the time. I'm an Ellen Degeneres type of girl. I see a girl when I look in the mirror without makeup, thank God. Looking like a cute girl without boobs was a curse when I was in high school, but now it's a middle-age blessing.  :eusa_dance:

So far so good.  I don't have any trouble passing as long as I'm dressed the part.

The real pain in the butt is trying to do boy mode now until I finish transitioning at work.  I get stared at so hard and people just avoid using pronouns at any cost it seems.

I pass as Tessa, a transgender person, 100% but I also pass gas 100% so let it go...... ;D

Depending on how I dress and style my hair, I pass most of the time. I even have trouble with looking more gender neutral some days. Damn, I'm loosing my shape-shifting abilities!

I'd say I pass fairly well, except maybe with children. I keep getting strange looks & double takes from some of them, but so far no one has said anything.
