Do I pass?

I'm 6'1 with a football player's build. I've gone out as a woman many times and generally get left alone. Do you think I have a chance of passing?

If not, what FFS procedures would you recommend? I think a chin reduction, jaw reduction, and forehead bossing reduction would go a long way, along with a rhinoplasty.

I'm going to say Yes.

There are some things you can do to help.
Smile
Shoulders back
Grow your hair out a bit more (time, i know)
Eyebrows (arch them if you can
But the biggest thing to passing that I've found is: Attitude.  Own who you are.  Be confident in yourself.

For a while, your worst enemy is the mirror.  All you'll see is your male self and not what others see.  I see the male self in the mirror and I pass with most people.

Here's a story - I was 1 month on HRT and 1 month of hair growth - basically not a lot of hair.  I chatted with a woman in a Japanese style steak house for 5+ minutes before she stopped me mid-sentence when I accidentally gave away my little secret.  She HAD NO IDEA.  No way did I think I was passing, but others apparently did.

Enjoy who you are.  Wear age and occasion appropriate clothes and no one will give you a second look.

Just going off the picture, I think your face could pass as it is without surgery. The two things you need to work on is handling your hair and makeup. Many places that sell quality makeup give lessons on the basics for the price of the makeup you purchase. As for hair, when you have enough hair for a professional cut, they will instruct you in the proper care of the cut. If you need a wig and you buy a good one from a wig shop, they will instruct you in the proper care of the wig. This takes practice so plan enough practice to get a steady hand.

I will say you are in the beginnings of transition and its going to take a year or two for things to start changing for people to see. (clothes help the most) Currently I think you should work on your make up and not over line your lips so much and try to add in more color beyond black for your overall appearance. Unless you want the gothic look of course. But girrlllll you need some eyebrows on that face your doing yourself a disservice without them colored in!!!

Transition will take years and sadly we all have to put our time in to finally see the results. Dont let time persuade you from doing what you know is right inside and dont listen to people who will hate you for finally becoming your true self. It doesnt matter how well you pass, once these people find out "you were a man" its like you dont exist as female anymore bro. So be ready for that because it will happen and you should prepare yourself.

If possible try some breast forms (see below) to help give you a chest. The really flat and wide ones look more natural in a bra versus the very big ones. Next try to look into plus size clothing lines for women and find some tops, pants, and a cardigan.  This should help you pass abit better my dear. =)

If you would like input on ffs then please post pictures from the sides of your face/head. That will help us the most with your facial shapes like male bossing.

The single most important thing I did in my transition is to lose weight. Not only does it make you more feminine, it actually helps makes you a more attractive woman. There are many good posts in the weight loss section to help, if you decide to pursue weight loss.

You have a good starting point. Lets see what you decide to do and how it works for you. Keep us posted.

Eyebrows are the most important thing when it comes to makeup, in my opinion. Even my cis female sister, when she has no time in the morning to do makeup, will always find time to shape and fill in her eyebrows.

Eyebrows frame the face, and are more critical than many early transitioning women realize.

I'm going to say yes to passable. The Goth look has never been my thing, but with a few suggestions echoed... shoulders back (your posture looks horrible), take some time with the hair, eyebrows eyebrows eyebrows, some tweaking with your makeup. The only real issue is going to be your cleft chin. Generally a masculine feature. Other than that you look like you could be there. From spending a lot of time around the drag community, being heavier helps as it masks your bone structure. Being a bit more fluffy helps with passability. I do recommend losing weight for health reasons, but it does make it easier to pick up on male and female cues. So it is a double edged sword.
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)
