Just came out to mom

Just sent this to my mom would of rather done it in person but I don't know when ill see her again I can't wait until she wakes up so nervous.

"Hey mom, umm I guess I have news.
How should I put this, would rather do it in person but don't know when that'll be... So anyways you remember back in highschool and stuff... I use to say stuff all the time alot bull->-bleeped-<-, alot not, but anyways one of the things I said was rather been born a girl... Well yeah I guess it is time to come out the closet, I am trans.
I love you mom."

Looks like im on fire when it comes to coming out. How long till it burns me, and who, and will I even care?

Yup, you are on fire!  I'm amazed how differently everybodys coming outs and letters are.  I think the important thing is be you throughout it all.  If I sent a letter like yours there's no way my family would accept it as it doesn't ring as me.  My family would think I was under duress or something.  I am long winded, analytical about everything.  They would expect me to have a debate with myself in my letters and I did.

Kudos to you for keeping your personalality in yours.
