Had my first post op visit with my GP today. I think it went really well. Had a bit of levity with my Doctor - Her- "Margaret how are you feeling today?"  Me- Well thanks for asking I am feeling less nuts... She looked at me for a second and laughed a little, then looked at me again and bent over laughing at my statement. I am her first Mtf to have gcs.
Had the exam she looked at me for a while and was amazed at the work Dr. Ley had done. I am her first live observation post gcs, she was very pleased with the healing and wishes I could talk to a couple of her patients who are very nervous about their upcoming gcs. Told her I was 100% happy and willing to do just that... She was going to check Kaiser's policy check the ability to have them talk to me.
So far so good and I feel 100% now

Too funny!!!

I hope you can talk the other patients.  I wonder if you could put on a monthly/quarterly meeting/discussion.  It might be an interesting side benefit for that hospital.

The local hospital here has a whole department dedicated to Trans patients and the procedures associated.  Maybe you can kick off the same.

Big things start with the first brick.
