Question to barbie~~

Hallo, Barbie. What please is your leg height ? We are the some body height and I am not so tall when sitting also. The people are very funny in your pictures. Wow ! look a tall women ! very funny.
Dank.

My friends first think I have a 8 head figure proportion, and some of them, including two artists, commented that I seem to have even 9 head figure proportion after seeing the following photo.

But, actually I have a standard figure proportion (7 head). https://www.coursehero.com/file/18891299/Basic-Figure-Drawing/

I have rather slender arms and legs, making my height look taller. Most men and women with my height here have a big figure. If not, then they would easily work as a fashion model like one of my female cousins. As I have a slender figure, people who first meet me while I sit in a table tend to be surprised when I stand up. My weight is also under the standard considering my height (67 kg or 148 lbs, my goal is 65 kg).

Yes. My height and body figure is noticeable when I wear very tight clothes such as leggings or expose my body. But I have been obsessed with my waist size, not height or weight. This is why I ride a mountain bike to decrease my weight a little bit further to 65 kg (143 lbs). My goal is a 27 inch waist.

Anyway this obsession is also beneficial for maintaining my health.

Cheers,

barbie~~
Just do it.

Height is a concern for me as well (6'). It doesn't help that I'm a huge fan of tall boots and wedges.  :D I have concerns for when I am out full time, whenever that may be, and not passing because of my height is one of them.

I got my legs waxed today - I am "out" to the salon. I told her that I would gladly sacrifice 10 inches for a full head of hair and she said all she wanted was three inches more - to be 5'5"!

I struggled with tall (6 foot 2) for a while then realized a short torso and long legs are actually considered attractive. So I just own it. :)
Every day is a totally awesome day

Every fear faced leads to one more strength
Every strength leads to greater success
Success leads to self esteem

Cherish every day.

dang your lucky,  like you say just own it. your subtle body movements change when you accept and own it. your entire subconscious messages to others alter as well, from nervs to confidence. for me i have always found people with confidence in themselves an attractive quality.

For me its easy to spot the ones self conscious about something.

I had a "tallness" event a couple days ago and thought others might find it interesting? I kind of did.

After she closed up, the newish bartender at the neighborhood dive sports bar where I hang out went with me and a couple regular guys from the gang to another bar that's open an hour later to play pool and it was the first time I'd really socialized with her when she was off duty.

Every so often, well okay, maybe once or twice out of every three or four evenings out during the week, I enjoy making a little extra effort to style it up a bit. I always look nice, 98.5% of the time anyway but I'll often throw on a pair off heels or a dress once and a while to mix it up. I happened to be wearing pumps the night we went to play pool which started the conversation.

She told me she wished she could wear heels and I asked her why she couldn't? She said it was because she was too tall and she was way too self-conscious about it because they made her a giant. This is a young, thin, pretty 25 year old with gorgeous long hair and obviously enhanced breasts and you certainly wouldn't think she'd be self-conscious about anything?

So just sort of horsing around drinking and laughing in between taking turns at the pool table and my flirting with one of the guys we were with that I've kind of been after for the last six months, her and I stand close next to each other sort of eyeball to eyeball trying to figure out which one of us was taller. I was but I was wearing high heels but I really wasn't that much taller so I wondered if she thought I was a giant?

It turns out she's less than half an inch or only about a centimeter taller than me but I told her I loved how tall I was and that she should rock it. She's 5'7" (179.18 cm).

The point of this story is that young pretty cis girls have insecurities about their height and 5'7" isn't really that tall. There are tons of tall women out there and whatever your height, you should rock it too!

Personally, the only thing I care about regarding height is that guys I might get involved with are taller than me or if they're close, that they're built bigger. My ex-husband was 6'3" (190.5 cm). The guy I've been playing a cat and mouse game with for the last six months is 6'4".

Oddly, women that are a lot taller or bigger than me kind of turn me on too!  :icon_blah:  (Did I just say that? !!!) :eusa_doh:

Thanks for the comment in Hanguel. As you know, those translators are not so much reliable, but anyway I can understand what it means.

Thanks, Danielle, always. Yes. I am a kind of photo exhibitionist.

Yesterday I wore flat sandals in a downtown area of Seoul, as I can not bear so much attention with my 4 inch heel sandals. I could feel that the number of eyes watching me substantially decreased.

I noticed that many young girls here are wearing sneakers with a rather formal dress or jacket. I may follow them.

@barbie
I LOVE those thin strap flats you're wearing, I went into about 6/7 different shoes shop yesterday looking at similar but various styles. BUT even though I have seen a fair number of younger girls wearing sneakers with formal dresses I really don't like the look. IMO - sneakers with casual summer dress - yes, but sneakers with a more formal dress looks awkward IMO, just my opinion - but I wanted to say it because I love your fashion sense, and those thin starp sandals/heels always look really elegant and timeless!

Take care,

Sonja.

Sonja,

Yes. Initially I thought like you. But sneakers with a rather formal jacket is now a trend here. It makes women look younger, as mostly young college students wear like that. Last weekend, a young girl sitting next to me in the flight was wearing exactly like that. She looked very nice and fresh.

Today I tried it.

Oh That looks great on you!  its a more casual look that works,

I was thinking more about when girls wear slightly formal dresses and sneakers together, let me see if I can find a pic.

I think this dress is too formal for sneakers - but for casual wear and summer dresses that are more playful its cool.

Shaq? That's pretty funny!  :icon_razz:

Depending on whether I've eaten my Wheaties that day or not, I'm 5' 6½" to 5 '6¾". I'm actually about an inch shorter than I used to be.

Even though I started HRT at 17 while in high school, I still got taller. Not sure it would have made much difference but we didn't have puberty blockers or anti-androgens in 1972. I'm okay with my height.
