I don't particularly like what I've got--in fact, it's kind of gross much of the time--but it works really well when I want it to and just the thought of a phalloplasty makes my skin crawl. No thank you!

While I don't like what I have, I can live with it. I also do not believe a penis makes you a man so NO .

If the operation was completely and utterly flawless - definitely.
But with the way the results look now - no way.
I'd rather have a vagina that works than a dick that doesn't.

I've actually become more comfortable with what I already have. I doubt I'll be getting any kind of surgery down there, free or not.

I agree with the statements having a penis doesnt make you a man - thats very true. You dont need one to be a guy.

But having a vagina sure doesnt help either! ->-bleeped-<-s with my head too much.

It would be great to be able to have a real penis that can "perform" properly and all that stuff, but they dont have that avaliable yet. If its not avaliable by the time I am ready - I'll just get whatever is avaliable. If someone were offereing it for free - I'ld think it was the greatest thing ever!

with the metoidioplasty (without urethral hookup), everything is the real parts and in working order. all it does is release it so that it can stand up. for a bio guy, i imagine it to be like popping a boner in a really tight pair of underwear. just wont let it stand up! i just want my underwear surgically removed.

Exactly. I wouldn't have one just to make me a man. As I don't believe you need to have a penis to be a man.

If I couldn't get a phallo, I would seriously think about getting meta.

yup that's how I feel about it. if I could get a fully functioning dick then yeah absolutely I'd do it. but not with the options that are available right now, I'm content enough with what I have
