Two in left ear and three in right ear.   Although I rarely wear the third in my right ear.   I love earrings

lol I have just the opposite- 3 in the left and 2 in the right. Oh, and a belly ring. Ears all done with a gun, belly button done with a large curved needle that wasn't anywhere near as painful as the ears for some reason but took about 4 months to heal completely.

Muffin your earrings are very cute! Now you just need a couple more ;)

I hope you cherish that relationship - my biggest regret in life is the decades my mom and I were estranged over the gender identity thing.
I'm sometimes jealous of the friendship you younger girls manage to maintain with your moms

It's been just over 3 weeks and so far so good, they were only sensitive the first night and even then it was nothing to keep me awake. I must admit I haven't been spraying them as much this week >_< but I don't touch them so they should be clean enough. I so can't wait to put something different in. My mum gave me two pairs that she had that she never wore so as soon as the six weeks up and I'm going to try them ^_^
Half way there!!!!

I get somewhat jealous of that also, plus I think Muffin has rather cute ears and I wonder if Jen ever got her ears pierced

How funny that you would say that.  I was just talking to my sister yesterday about this very thing.  She was trying to convince me not to get them pierced, because she never got her's done and she said she always felt like it made her unique.  I said that I agree, but I think I'm unique enough already.  And she was like, good point lol.

I dunno I think I might try to find a place to do them today, or soon if not. :)

you're asking for an infection by doing that.

right now the piercings are basically an open wound. you might not be touching it with your fingers, but your hair, and anything in the air is getting on them.

I say this from experience of me being a stupid 12y/o when my first holes were done and thinking that swimming = not having to clean them. (note: that was a bad idea)

Okay fine...  :P

Just boring little silver balls in my ear for six weeks.  Somebody needs to invent cute trinkets to snap onto these :).  I want pretty things dangling from my ears right now!

Hmmm  :eusa_think: well yes... Looks like they did a good job...Silver ball studs...Good choice...Same as I got first round

Now remember...Your ears think they have been wounded...So take good care of them

You'll be wearing all the hoops and pretty dangles you like in no time  :icon_chick:

Wow you must be excited to buy millions of earrings .   Really your expenses on earring will surely multiply .why should not it be so ?

Muffin and Jen, your earrings look great! Just a warning, I tried to change my at like three weeks and they bled, so I left them in another three just to be safe. I was finally able to wear something besides my studs just a few days ago!! Super cute little dangly silver thingies. I should've taken a picture! Maybe I will tonight. :)

Buying earrings is one of my obsessions.  It takes time to find what suits you best.   Yellow gold looks tacky on me but ok on others.   I try to go for silver or white gold.   Enjoy the delight of new earrings.   Oh, and don't forget top mix and match with necklaces and bracelets.

I love jewellery!

I like silver also... And sea shells... *Dreams away about silver danglers with sea shells*

The other day I took another step toward full womanhood - I lost one of my favorite earrings.  (It was a shell earrring that I loved and got a lot of compliments on. :P)

which is why having an odd number of piercings works so well

I just got back from getting my ears pierced. I can't stop looking in the mirror  :)

I just hope I don't do anything wrong while they're healing  :o Right now I only have the "noob" rings the piercer gave me, but I forgot to ask when it's safe to use other rings. Is time an issue for putting new ones in?
