I just made a strawberry flan for the girls and I had some Angel Delight topping left over. It seems to have mysteriously vanished and I was the only person in the kitchen. I wonder what could have happened to it? And why are my fingers smelling of strawberry topping?? Errr......

Rather than make it from scratch, like we would on board ship, I just buy the frozen Stouffer's variety.

I always associated the word "flan" with a Mexican custard.
