ah thankyou!

Just curious Ive always wondered what do you call this?

cause that to me is Jelly but im pretty sure you call Jam which is this stuff jelly

Earlier today I had 2 scoops of ice cream (birthday cake flavour and Nutella flavour) with Ferrero Rocher crumbled in it, in a malteaser cone. YUM.
I'm sure more civilized americans would make a distinction, but I use jam and jelly as synonyms. I guess I'm more likely to use jelly if it's got sugar added.

Is the first picture jello maybe? Stuff made of gelatin or pectin plus sugar and color?

Jelly, jam and preserves are all made from fruit mixed with sugar and pectin. The difference between them comes in the form that the fruit takes.

    * In jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice.
    * In jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp or crushed fruit (and is less stiff than jelly as a result).
    * In preserves, the fruit comes in the form of chunks in a syrup or a jam.

I love shells and cheese. I'm eating that with tuna and some sundrop.  And doggy had a leftover porkchop and he's patiently waiting to see what I have leftover, lol.
