Another BLT with tomatos from the garden, guac and chips, fresh brewed iced tea.  I've been gardening the past 28 years in this location and the midsummer garden tomato taste never ceases to amaze me!

Hi Karen,
Just as well I didn't know about this before, otherwise you would have had to set the table for two

I'm into some homemade Rhubarb with natural yogurt

Enjoy

Maltesers.. :)

I remember those from England.

As I recall, they are similar to Whoppers chocolate-covered malted milk balls sol din the U.S.

Tonight was Wallaby sausages, yes Wallaby.  Very nice with potato and pumpkin mash, and steamed silver beet and parsnip.
Dessert was Double smoked Cheddar and Tasty Cheeses.

I'll get a bigger Slow Cooker for the Lamb Shanks and issue invitations.

We made a soup by aping the ingredients from a can of soup that wasn't bad. Broken handfuls of noodles, tomato slices, cannelloni beans, spinach, carrots, broccoli stems (substituted for celery), garlic, onion, oregano, veggie stock, salt. Turned out good and cheap.

Risotto. I had a look in the fridge and freezer and ended up with Pastrami Smoked Salmon and Silver Beet (Swiss Chard) Risotto. Very nice indeed, even though I had to top up the Arborio Rice with a bit of Basmati.

Karen.
