Hint - my user name isn't entirely a coincidence - and indeed back in the dim and distant past I did have a solid professional connection with the show when I was a BBC person, all of which is already on record thanks to a previous incarnation of me on this site - and indeed early in this very thread. But like my name sake I am apt to "regenerate" every so often, this time into a real life medic. I'm actually taking my first session out on the wards in scrubs tomorrow!

Tonight I watched the BBC drama about the birth of Dr Who, all I can say without spoilers is that at times it was funny & at times it was sad.
I strongly recommend you all check out the BBC Iplayer if you didn't see it

If my memory serves me right it was called "an adventure in space & time"
It was a drama that told the story of how Dr Who struggled to our screens & hearts, as it's based on real events i'd describe it as a drama-documentary.

I would be shocked if it isn't on the BBC iplayer by now

The most beautiful scene is when Matt Smith looks at Bradley as Hartnell in an reverent and proud way. With bad writing this would have been awful, but the way they did it, it was one of the best scenes in the drama-documentary.

I would have written that scene with all of the Dr's that followed Hartnell being present giving that look, with modern technology it would have been possible to do, apart from that it was perfection
