Finally! Surgery Date!

Finally. I went for another consult and decided to go with the 2nd surgeon. He's done a few top surgeries with other FTMs (larger guys) with great success. Based on some friends' recommendations and my confidence with him based on my conversation with him, I booked my dated (May 23rd) and put down a deposit. On top of that, I'm hoping that my insurance will cover some of it. I should be able to cover the rest based on stuff I have saved up and/or my tax return (nearly $10K on top of $6K I stashed for taxes I thought I would owe).

To say I'm excited and scared at the same time is an understatement.

If you're nervous about going under the knife, that's normal. But try to focus on how great things will be afterward. This is something that you really want.
