I recently joined. I am in the process of severing all ties and having to justify everthing. I have already done EVERYTHING to be a female. SSA wont change my gender marker. My drivers license and name are male.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hello, what part of CO are you from?

I lived in Colorado Springs for quite a while in the 90s :icon_wave:

Hi Raven.  I completely understand the desire to just get away.

I hope you will be able to build yourself a new life.

Hi Raven, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8320 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Welcome and I am concerned. You need friends and support for transition. If you have done everything ? you would have had SRS surgery. SSA will only change a gender marker for MTFs with a surgeon's letter stating so. That is their policy, backwards for a Federal agency, but part of Homeland security issues. If you have such a letter, then either speak to a supervisor, and tell them they are violating their own policy, or see a lawyer. We have a few people in Phoenix that are currently suing the SSA for gender discrimination.
