Infinity cannot be quantified since it goes on forever. You can just keep on adding more numbers for each set. His argument is cute, but... no.

Well, you know what they say; nothing ventured, nothing failed.

I see life as a chance to get off this rock and move to Alpha centauri and start up a planetary hunger games, sacrificing thousands of lives from each of the colonies in a controlled tribal warfare system to divvy up fissile resources for the sake of clean energy(and thus prosperity) for the colony that wins.
