Lucid

Reminds me of Nong Toom.

On topic:  I never liked the idea of separating leagues into male and female.  I always thought that if you're capable, you should be able to compete, regardless of what you are.  Always seemed like the whole male league female  league things should have been separate, special groups from an all inclusive main one.

No, just ignorant.

Complaining about fairness in competitive sports is rediculous, no two people are exactly alike, trans or cis, someone's going to have an advantage or disadvantage in some respect.

If you don't like it I can recommend you just watch rock em sock em robots or something.

I hate to hear that you feel someone is "Ignorant", because they disagree with you.

ig·no·rant
/ˈignərənt/
Adjective
Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular: "ignorant of astronomy".

It is ignorance when you say something contrary to blatantly obvious facts.

I just tell like I see it.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

If she was a ciswoman and she had the exact same build as she does now then nobody would complain that it's unfair.

Towards all those who are speaking on male structure, let me comment with this.Male structure is based on their hormone correct? Lets take a very tall building for an example.Lets say workers went in and slowly removed the support beams.over time this building would become weaker, more frail-right? of course we all know, this wouldnt happen right away-this would take years before it started to show its now, frail state.the male body is exactly the same way.with male blockers and on the female hormone, the body began's to restructure and lose its physical form. This has nothing to do with bone shape or any such.there are MANY ciswoman who have the same bone shape, but its all down to hormones and muscle mass.this is like stating that if you are born with a larger jaw, that you should not fight because you have an advantage. Why do you think they require AT LEAST,1 year on female hormones before sending you anything for GRS? (most docs do mind you,not all) this includes blockers.I would advise doing some research on the male hormone, its effects and its changes when lost/changed.As the hormone reshapes her completely into a complete female form, she WILL still out match them, purely by her skill.nothing more.if anything else until then, this will push the ciswoman into training harder and making their selves better fighters.and they will persue her as a worthy opponent.

I'm not the public but the public is never just gonna be like "yeah ok it doesn't matter.")

i totally agree that the public at large will always make a big deal out of it for the foreseeable future. i mean all it takes is one loud mouth and the media will focus on it no matter what.

Couple points on this lets look at the perceived advantage. bone density and weight varys from person to person regardless of birth gender.  more weight equals more energy produced from muscle to achieve punching velocity.  if she has female muscle mass but male bone density she will punch at a slower velocity period.   now lets look at the force of that punch Velocity * mass if Cis female punches at say a speed of 4 but has a density of 3 and the trans female  has a punching speed of 3 but a bone density of 4 they both punch with a force of 12 period.  now in realistic measurements the variation is even less minute becuase For the RECORD BONE Doesnt CHANGE BUT BONE Density does Hello osteoporosis!  also women actually have harder bones than men BTW estrogen hardens the hell out of bones.  ohh and guess what when women work out guess what they get nooooooo  Testosterone !!! so truth is there especially in this setting is no differance what so ever as long as the two fighters are of the same weight class.

OK, we'll I actually know a bit about mma fighting as I was involved with it personally about 15 or so years ago. I'm 5'7", around 140 (about 120ish then). So I'm not big by any standards. I've stepped into rings with men that outweighed me by upwards of 200 lbs. I mean total beasts. And guess what? I only once lost to someone that had a size/strength advantage. Because I know how to fight. I was trained. And when I lost I didn't make excuses about size or anything, he was just better than me. Now, pre hrt, even though I was small I was strong for my size, which gave me a bit of confidence when facing a Goliath. So ironic that my only other loss ever, came from a guy that fought at 5'2" 115. I still remember it was so quick, I rushed for a clench to end it fast, established the clench, and was promptly picked up from a clench(!) And driven shoulder first onto the mat, the fight was called and I went to have my shoulder relocated.

I guess in short, nothing matters in that octagon except awareness and skill. I support her completely because unless she can see the future and know what her opponent will do next, she has no advantage whatsoever.

As long as her opponent does not object, i see no issue with it. In general I have no problem with it because I am not the one getting in the ring with her. I think that if they have a problem fighting Fallon they should say so! The only way for her to fight is if she has opponents.  So I support Fallon on her quest.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
