Alright been confirmed ten and rose are returning as there are pics of matt and david holding their copies of the script and also david and billie have been photographed filming(or at least between take) also Ten's tardis has been spotted while filming also.

Also interesting to see the return of those mentioned by Princess Rachel. I thought it was odd people saying the whispermen were the villains of the story(still might be) as I thought they were creatures/villains of the crimson horror story certainly appear like they would fit in the year that seems to be taking place in, for that matter they would fit in the story hide aswell based on mood for it.

not impressed with tonight's show to be honest, although the last five minutes were very good, not one I'll probably rewatch when I get the blu ray

I MISSED THIS WEEKS EPISODE!!!!

I'm booking an hour later this week to watch it on the I-player in the hostels PC room but i'm gutted I won't get to watch it on my massive TV.  :(

Cold War was good, been a long time since there was anything that atmospheric and claustrophobic, Dalek in 2005 I think, and fun to see Ser Davos Seaworth as the submarine captain :)

My only complaint is they were speaking english before and after the tardis arrived.

By the way how did Skalek's head fit inside the helmet? It was smaller in width than his actual head.

Shodan

Haven't you learned anything from the TARDIS? His helmet was clearly bigger on the inside.

True, still doesn't explain the language issue though.

Jayne

As the TARDIS travels in time & space it exists in every point of time & knew we'd need translations so it sent the translation matrix ahead of itself (it's smart like that)  ;)
  •

Charley Bea(EmeraldP)

That would work if the doctor didn't back up that their language translates when in a certain distance to the tardis.

Having said that doesn't explain in old shows when they are nowhere near it lol

Retroactively thinking the explaination(first brought up in the christmas invasion) is good but doesn't totally explain it, so all good.

maybe the TARDIS was already inside everyone's house at the time? ;)

I wonder how difficult it would be to make a transition regeneration sequence?
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Hide was better than expected :)

I put a sign on my door for last weeks episode telling everyone at the hostel not to disturb me whilst Dr who was on & half way through the episode people came knocking on my door!!
They were in the middle of an argument & within seconds I was shouting at them to get the hell out of my flat, I hardly ever raise my voice!
I ended up switching the episode off as it had been interrupted, i'll watch it on fridays repeat & God help anyone who knocks on my door during that hour!!

Argument or not it was still disrespectful of them to ignore your wishes.

  •

Princess Rachel

I agree with Emerald, it's rudeness of unspeakable depths to ignore your wishes

I loved Doctor Who. Yet not that much anymore. After Donna, that show got boring. I never liked Amy, anyway.
It's not easy having a good time, even smiling makes my face ache!  :icon_ashamed:

tonight was mainly filler with a light bit of teasing, I think this season over all has been weaker than the Moff's first two, it's almost like watching a lot of unconnected drama plays all featuring the same few people in them, I do worry that the show's lost its way and it's time for a new hand on the rudder

The connected story lines are essentially a modern thing for Dr.Who.. There were a few times in the old Who series when it happened, the Key to Time as an example, but for the most part, they were just a collection of stand alone stories with e Dr and his companion(s).
