When I was walking home, a guy told me "hey darling".  That made me feel small.

Who knows, he may have been gay and thought you were a darling guy?

Ew, I don't get why people feel the need to talk to "girls" they don't know like that...I mean, creepy much? Sure, I'll be nice to a random girl (or someone I perceive as a girl, I guess) on the street, but I'd never use pet names. It's just...ugh. And as a trans guy that's even worse...sorry that happened to you.

Exactly, the thing is, I wasn't even trying to look attractive.  I just rolled out of bed pretty much and went to school and my hair was a mess.  And the way he was looking at me was just....ew!  Smh

My nephew found my packer Sunday, held it in his hand and asked "what is this" curiously.  He unexpectadly came over and while I wasn't in my room, he decided to go snooping around to find it again.  He took it into the living room where I was at with my sister and asked "what it this" again, laughing.   He almost blew my cover.  Now I have a feeling he is going to blab about it in the future.

That's it, I'm putting my packer on lockdown.

I am stressed out and frustrated by paperwork.
Also, one of my male friends has suggested things reminiscent of what male friends used to do before I had my son. I am not comfortable with that.

If I have to fill out female on one more form this week, I may just drive a truck through my school. On a Saturday at 3 am of course so I don't kill anyone. But still. It feels like I'm blatantly lying and also pisses me off a LOT. And the stupid secretary was telling me about how there's makeup that you can put on to hide bags under your eyes because I mentioned that people don't think I get enough sleep because of them, because she implied that I never sleep or something. Lady, stop comparing me to your daughter just because she got a short haircut or wore "baggy boy pants" when she was my age. She grew up a lot and is now a beautiful young woman who wears interesting outfits and cosplays? Great for her, but I don't care!

And every day I've had people come up to me and say how "cute" my haircut is. Cute. Would you say that to a boy? No. Would you ask him if he chose to make it that short? Hell no. So why are you annoying me, go away. Also don't look so confused when I shoot you a withering look for screaming my birthname in the hallway every time you see me, you know my situation and are accepting so quit it.

On the other hand a person I hadn't told came up to me, used my preferred name and said it was cool. They all think it's cool for some reason, like getting a tattoo or riding a motorcycle. It's not cool when you're stuck in a building whose staff thinks you're a girl, it sucks.

Now I just need to figure out how to tell these people to stop ruining my day all the time, it always happens just when I've forgotten that I'm not a cisguy with a lack of proper facial hair.

A couple people have joined my trans group that I suspect to be ->-bleeped-<-s. I know for sure that one is a ->-bleeped-<-. So now I'm wondering how to make it very clear that I am uncomfortable with this while at the same time not outright accusing them?

You're not ugly dang it, but I know what you mean. You might want to take a break from the vanity threads with all the photos of the young pretties, it only leads to thoughts of "if only I had 40 grand for FFS, another 20 K for SRS and 10K for a nice set of rockets I'd be happy. That's not necessarily so, trust me on this.

Edge, refresh my memory. Is this a group that you started? A good set of rules is essential. Apply them across the board and no one can feel accused. Hugs, Devlyn

Went shopping with my gf today and she stopped by the salon for a trim. I'm sitting there waiting and her hairstylist asks her if her boyfriend is a police officer.

Either I have an air of authority or come off as super masculine.

Either way I like it and it felt good.  ;D

Well, it depends...can you tell us what they are doing that makes you think they're ->-bleeped-<-s? Things that they are saying or doing?

The one I know is told me he is specifically looking for someone to date because he considers trans people to be the "best of both worlds." I checked both of their pages once I added them and their likes that I can see are exclusively explicit "sexy" stuff that refer to trans women as "she-males" and "->-bleeped-<-s." Can I just remove them or would that be unfair?
Edit: Ha! Both are now removed. Sayonara gross a-holes.

Well, see if there can be a way to make it so that there is something in place dictating that the group is not for dating. Of course people might date, but it shouldn't be mentioned or brought up in the meetings. Something along the lines of it's a place for support and having anything that focusses on finding someone to date takes away from that.
