Homemade Salisbury steak with brown gravy over white rice. I should have put it on top of the gravy instead of the other way around. Yeah, I like onions.

My gf is working all night so an easy dinner for me. Two cajun chicken sandwiches on wheat bread with spicy mustard.

I had two servings of red quinoa with veggies.  ;D (had to make up for that pack of Nutter Butters I ate at work)

I don't think I'll be eating at Jamie's anytime soon, too much green stuff.

You would have loved the scallops, with a nice sear, and a wonderful nutty, lemony flavor.

Mmm. Mmm.  Good

Tonight it was boneless, skinless chicken breasts, seasoned and browned in the leftover bacon grease (rather than butter or oil - for taste), then popped into the oven to finish.

With them were lima beans, with grilled onion and bacon lardons, slow cooked.

To plate, top of the finished breasts with quick stir-fried baby spinach and minced garlic.  Serve the lima beans in a ramekin on the side.

A nice big bacon cheeseburger all the way except I did toss the tomatoes(they gag me when they are raw), some fries and a chocolate shake. A nice nutritious meal, yep.

I had a thickburger and fries from Hardee's.  ;D

I poached about a half pound of chicken in water with some onions, garlic, sage, black pepper, and red pepper flakes for about ten minutes. I removed the chicken and chopped it into small pieces, then returned it to the poaching liquid and added a big spear of asparagus sliced into rounds and a handful of chives. (Both from the garden). Right on top of that went an Instant Ramen knocked out of its styrofoam cup. I stirred it in, threw a lid on it, and let it sit for ten minutes, now let's see what we got!

I made a strange mixture of guacamole, along with ground turkey and veggie pizza.

I've been really boring for a while, another change thingy in my life. But I've just started to get interested in cooking again.

Last night, roasted a carrot, sweet potato, capsicum, mushrooms and a tomato with a chicken fillet, covered in far too much gravy.

I never skimp on the sauce!!

Nice

^That sounds really good.

It's another night that my gf works third (she does 12 to 16 hour shifts) soooo it's easy peasy for me. I just don't like cooking for myself because that's just making an unnecessary mess.

I'm going to have a can of this new Campbell's soup. It's chicken taco flavor.  ;D

That looks really good! I made chicken tenders posed in front of Mount McSpud, with homemade gravy, of course.
