I could break you with a single strip of bacon!

Nahh, I can eat "fakon" instead. I feel soooo much better lately that I'll never even desire to eat meat again. Next thing I want to do is go full Vegan and give up dairy, eggs, and honey. Already gave up cow milk for almond milk but I've yet to start making my own cheeses out of nuts. Plan to go full out in the next year.  ;D

Yeah, it's because bees are technically animals so honey is an animal product. No biggie though. I've never cared for bee barf anyways, lol.

Devyls Advocate time!  What's the demarcation line for veganism and bees? If the bees pollinate a plant, is the fruit off limits? Should vegans only eat wind pollinated foods?

Yeah, that's one of those catch-22's out there. I'm just trying to be as ethical and health conscious as possible. If there was an alternative to using their labor for our purposes it would be preferred but there isn't. Can't completely erase our footprints on the Earth but going Vegan is about the most ethical thing there is. I'm also dropping weight and feel better so it's win/win all around.

I'll never be a "Vegan Nazi" and tell people they're murderers for eating meat. I'm just doing my own thing...feeling good mentally/physically about my decisions and even saving money in the process.  :)

I have some minced veal I have to use before it turns and some loose Italian sausage.  I was thinking a cottage pie or something would work.

Last night I made some thin spaghetti and tossed it in a garlic alfredo sauce.  I browned some chicken breast medallions in grapeseed oil with a little pepper melange, and sauteed some fresh spinach and minced garlic in the leftover chicken drippings.  Pasta, topped with chicken, topped with spinach.

Served with a green dinner salad.  Very easy.
