I thought i had replied to this yesterday as i recall saying i had roasted potatoes and breaded chickens stripes. I kind of burnt it though :/

Mince meat pies

It was a friend's birthday dinner tonight, so we were at our favourite Turkish restaurant. I had the vegetarian mezze; grilled halloumi, tomato & onion bulgar wheat salad, baked aubergines in cream, tzaziki, houmous, and warm pitta breads. Delicious!

This chicken. As you can see, I do my outdoor cooking on the $9 walmart grill. Does it taste as good as it looks? I cooked it with indirect heat (coals on one side, chicken on the other) with the grill tilted so the chicken fat drips on the coals for about an hour. I've been feeding the fire wild grapevines for about an hour since then. So yeah, it's going to taste as good as it looks!

I have a pork shoulder that I'll be grinding up today so I'll use some of that for some kinda burgers.  No clue what we'll have with them.

I'm making Sloppy Joes, it's cooking down now. From scratch, none of that instant stuffola at my house! There's ground beef, onions, garlic, tomato sauce, molasses, parsley, black pepper, hot sauce, sage, chili powder, soy sauce and dandelion wine.

Roasted potatoes, lamb chops, and homemade Yorkshires.

I had Caribbean sweet potato roasts with chunky chips and edameme bean superfood salad.

I had hot dogs, chips, and onion rings. I haven't had hot dogs for months but now i crave them

I made a strawberry shortcake. I ate all of it. 

Italian style canned crushed tomatoes sauteed with broken up pastrami and fresh mini baby carrots with curry powder and minced onion. It needed potatoes but Im out.

Made some mini veggie patties, topped with mozza, mustard and homemade coleslaw in English muffin 'buns'. They are so cute!

  Steak chimichanga from a neighborhood Mexican restaurant I haven't visited yet.  That was excellent after doing lawn and garden catch-up!
