We had a party last night for my mum and dad's 50th birthday and I dressed up for it, but for the first time in male clothes. My dad said I looked like him when he was young! Cue the mutual crying :p

I talked to my sister. She's willing to help with the aftercare if/when I get SRS.  :)
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Great news Suzi, especially after her iffy response earlier.

Nathaniel, high five buddy, that's awesome about your dad :D I got a feeling kinda like that when one of my family members called to make sure me and my dad were ok after he picked me up from work and he said to tell her 'yeah, We're just doing guy stuff, she wouldn't understand.'  ;D and I wasn't even out at the time.

My nephew drew me a heart and wrong I love *insert birthname* then he added 100 percent.  It really touched me and I asked him why did he write this to me first instead of his grandma and at first he said "cuz you're the coolest guy in the world"  I wanted to make sure I heard him right so I asked him to repeat himself and he changed it to "cuz you're the cooling human being in the world".  I told him no you didn't say that, what did you say, and he said "cuz you're the coolest person in the world."

It was still cute nonetheless, whether he addressed me as a guy or person.

This might sound weird at first, but today I had a psychiatric assessment, and was given a very definitive diagnosis of ongoing Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. The reason why I'm really happy about this is that it has taken me three years to get this diagnosis, and it means I'm finally being taken seriously by the health service and will get some better support.

It's also significant because it's also been three years of knowing that some of my friends were thinking (in the absence of an Official Diagnosis™) "Eh, she just thinks she has that..." and this validation/vindication makes a very big difference to me - I feel very relieved. I am celebrating with peanut M&Ms. ^-^
Congratulations, Padma. An official diagnosis can make a big difference!

After measuring and looking at my face for hours I found out that it's more female than male :D (71%)

What's the criteria for that?

Here's part of the criteria (rest was measurements):

Beard is growing in nicely but it still has a ways to go. -_- I wish there was a way to encourage it, because it's too ugly right now to grow out. But either way, I am happy to have what I have so far.
