Made a quick meal by boiling gnocchi,chopped some mushrooms and veggie ham and covered with grated mature cheddar,red Leicester and Mozzarella cheese then baked in the oven til the cheese melted.

More orzo and broccoli and little shreds of spicy veggie sausage. Not a huge fan of sausage (whether from mammals or plants) but I feel like I should probably have some protein now and then.

we're having bacalao tonight. just thinking of it makes my mouth water... still planning to wait with cooking it until people start coming home so we can eat it together.

We have guests, so last night I whipped up some roasted eggplant tortellini and served it with a brown butter rosemary sauce. Today, I'll have beef tenderloin which I salt cured for 3 days and a celery root salad.

Sliced a green pepper,green beans and sugar snap peas stir fried with green Thai curry sauce,juice of a lime and a teaspoon of fish sauce.Stir fried some king prawns and served with lie and coconut rice.

I had a double quarter pounder with cheese, fries and a big drink. Then just now I finished off a few pieces of fig cake that a neighbor gave me this afternoon. Had milk with that.

You can make a nice white sauce with mushrooms that has hardly any salt, plus you get that feeling of accomplishment!
