I was thinking about getting a thong but was gonna wait til after SRS. Is it practical to wear them before?  Seems to defeat the point if I wear a gaff with them.

HRT has made that thing shrink so much that I do not have to tuck anymore...cannot wait until it is completely gone and transformed into a velvet purse

 I would love to start HRT but I can't seem to be able to get the courage up to tell my parents that I want/need therapy Oh well...

We can not ask your age here. Are you still in High School? No need to answer.

If you are a legal adult, you get to figure this out for yourself. If not, you may have to wait... or come out. If you are on your parent's insurance, you may still be able to find a shrink for your depression (and, if you do the research, they may handle trans patients). If you are dysphoric, you qualify for a depression diagnosis. Semantics mean something to insurers. I take Spiro because of high blood pressure. Estrogen: hormone imbalance. Both are true. Both are covered. I would not be covered for being trans.

Find a good shrink and a good doc. Or come out to your parents.

OR BOTH!

Thanks for the response I'm finding it harder to come out than you might imagine though. I tried coming out last year in a letter to my parents and they told me it was just hormones and that I would get over it.... Yes, I'm in High School.

Aerie undies are 10 for $30. They've also got a thanksgiving sale. I got some stuff a week ago. The packaging is normal american eagle if you're worried. I'd just look for thanksgiving sales.

Before you know it you will have a whole drawer full of pretty things and the old boy stuff will find its way to the weekly trash pick up or charity.

I donated boxes of old shirts, coats and pants to our local hospice charity

You might want to get some cute cami tops to wear this winter under your shirts, Target has them for around $10 usually.

Any suggestions on what I can progress to buying and wearing now that I've gotten panties? I can't wait to get more. They seem right somehow. Someone already suggested getting some camis. Any other suggestions?

stockings are nice
