I enjoyed this e-mail exchange with a friend at work:

ME:  "My workload has exploded today.   I asked K---- if there any known quantum states in which I might be multiplied.  He didn't know, but I could realllly use 2 more of me right now."

HIM:  "Four more of you would be better."

ME:  "No, because then I'd get jealous of myself."

HIM:  "That's beautiful."

ME:  "Welcome to my neurosis."

:p
"When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too."

Thanks everyone!  ;D

Congratulations on your weight losses kabit, Joules and LordKAT.  :)

Thanks!! I had Applebees for dinner (oh so yum... first burger since coming out.... Woooow -- and Applebees mostly sucks ;))

Very nice kabit, a big step forward, congrats.  In looking back I realize it was kind of odd, so desperately wanting a letter that described just how screwed up I am.  ::)

I'm very curious to read it for myself. He was impressed with all of my history (most he knew, but going through it in order with the questions he needed to answer and clarifying everything made it seem more impressive). Sure I was screwed up... especially in high school... but I'm in a really pretty good state.

He also confirmed that I'm not clinically depressed (as my wife and parents think) and that yeah, I'm sad about my losses (and potential losses) but that the rest is just dysphoria.

So really a great session... and all we really did was talk to the required (? or just model?) questions.

Talked to my mom today and asked if they are ready for ME to come over to their house. She said yes which is freaking awesome as I've been waiting for them to say they were ready. Me and mom are going to work on cooking thanksgiving dinner and after we get the turkey started we are going to do another makeup tutorial session again! :D somebody pinch me haha!

I'm terrified, scared & excited all at the same time as this will be the real test to see if they will be ok with me being me around them and hopefully they will see what I have always known for a long long time.

The only sucky thing is that I will have to revert back to male mode around noon since my sister and her family is coming over with the kids and we haven't told the kids yet so eh but I can't complain it should be a great day.

That's really good to hear, Ryo Ohki. I'm going to call you that from now on. It sounds better than Kabit. :D

Yeah, a lot of people try to pass off gender dysphoria as just "being depressed" but they get it all backwards. The gender dysphoria is what causes the frickin depression. It isn't the other way around.

So, how long will it be, ya think, until the therapist writes you a letter for HRT?

It's really just my food habits that are part cat ;) I'm not giving up meat! (I know a Kat who's mostly rabbit that way, too ;))

He took all the rest of the info he needed yesterday and he knows my appointment is on the 26th, so he will have it done before then! I assume I'll have it in 2 weeks or so. :D It really is a big, big step and he's worked with my endo before... so I think everything should go smoothly (fingers crossed for 28 more days).

I just wish I could start right away with the full HRT regimen. I will be getting spiro for sure (she normally gives AA) and will request very low dose estrodil until my family (that is divorce) is mostly settled... or June at the latest. I was thinking I want to give myself until next winter to go FT at work. A part of me wants to be (and kind of is... in a way) out at work now.

I need to do shopping for spring/summer... we're just about into fall season's sales now so I'm probably really late.

No idea what my sizes will be a year from now, though :'(

Lost more weight! That makes nearly 71 lbs since the beginning of the year.  ;D

You go girl!

Watch out for the wacky hormonal cravings though, I dropped 42 lbs after deciding to go ahead with transition but have put 10 back on since starting P :(

Just found a selfie on my phone where I look quite nice. I am even wearing a hint of makeup, which is rare haha.

And both of my horses got new shoes on today. So good to have it done :D

Old happy me stopped by for a visit and decided to play some wild guitar. Looking forward to seeing old happy me more often. I sure hope so. I feel way less clouded right now. It's probably just one of my mood swings, but hey, i'll take what i can get.

She is, and such nice long shapely stems on her! She has a very feminine stance like that of a fashion model.

A definite benefit of being so tall (6'3")... during my first transition I caught a few guys checking out my legs. heh!

Today was a good day. I spend a nice Thanksgiving meal with most of my family. I spent most of the time with my Aunt & my only woman cousin in the kitchen. They complimented me on losing weight & looking better. I was as feminine as possible with them & told them I was making some changes to my life for the better. I did not come out & tell them I was taking HRT & planning a change of gender outright but there was no doubt I was one of the women with them. Thet are happy for me whatever I choose to do as they said. My nipples have been hard all day & no doubt they were noticed I think. I sure noticed them.

I think soon I will sit down with these 2 family women & just tell them of my plans. They may already suspect however maybe it's time for me to be open with them. That will be a relieve once I open up to these women since they are my only living women relatives.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Happy that I can just chill in my room wearing makeup, my wig, and just casual clothes, and look feminine enough fpr even my own liking.

I was added by my Dad's cousin to the Family tree as a female. And I learned from another family member that there are a lot of gay and lesbian family members, which explains why my Birth family is so accepting.
