Spent time chatting with Caleb. And yes, I am still missing him terribly.
Also, a friend from Valeo added me via Facebook. He hasnt seen me since February and said, " I have to admit, you look more like a woman than ever. If I hadnt  have known you for so long I would never have guessed that you were transgender."

;D

Maybe it's because I am attracted to someone for the first time in about four years or more. Maybe I'll see him tomorrow. Maybe it's because metal is awesome. Maybe it's because I love being me.

That's wonderful Edge! I hope you see him and he realizes how fantastic you are!

In any case, everyone here already has.  ;)

I feel really happy and excited for some reason. I like it. Maybe it's because I now have a Loki costume. It's not perfect, but it's still great. Maybe it's because I am attracted to someone for the first time in about four years or more. Maybe I'll see him tomorrow. Maybe it's because metal is awesome. Maybe it's because I love being me.

Yes all of that and the fact that you are a very unique and special person with a sweet heart who deserves to have a life!

I'll be getting the generic stuff at the university's pharmacy for $5. Not sure about estradiol yet, under insurance though (if it covers it) will be $5 for a generic, $17 for a brand name.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

It wasn't today, but...

My grandma, for the first time since I've come out (which was about a year ago I believe), has sent me a card using correct pronouns and my preferred name.

Mind you, this is the woman who looked at me when I came out and said "That's fine. I love you anyways. But you'll always be my granddaughter, and that's that."
So this is extremely special to me.
That's all.

Yea, it's awesome!! Especially since I'm low on cash.

I'm trying to be more hopeful, plus the Progestogen post gave me a whole lotta hope and showed me even my body knows its female. :)

Funny, I find mine to act the opposite, but because it wants to resist a major change, I believe.

Mine might resist, but Progestogen seems like it's missing from my body based on all the problems i have.

Joules,

Gwynne says that she's much too "refined" to receive her coal as bitumen.

My take on it is that she's Canadian and unconventional as well as rare and expensive, so it's a good fit (we can ignore the crude and dense part of bitumen, right?).

Gwynne points out that it's better than being cheap and stinky!

Ah, oil sands humour abounds!

My doc told me that the 25 mg pills work out to less total than using the 100 mg pills. e.g., 4 25s cost less than 1 100.  Don't axe me why...

Keaira switched to the $4 25mg pills too, but she said that so far they don't seem to work as well as her 100mg pill did.

Such a good feeling when someone who was being a a** project starts smoking.

I had a conversation with a girl friend at work... basically talking about what it means to grow old (she's about 10 years younger than me and has a SO - they don't go out of the house as much as they used to)...

Toward the end of the conversation someone in the hall asked what the heck we were talking about... and my friend said "oh, just how we're old maids."

;D Yeah... I'll take that affirmation!!

A co-worker just returned from a business trip to China. Knowing I am a tea lover he brought me back a nice container of Guan Tin Tie Yun. Super excited to try a cup when I get home.
Byes!!!! It's been real but this place isn't for me. Good luck in the future everyone.

A Chinese friend gave me a pound of black Oolong tea recently as a gift.
