That was something I'd wondered about... the notifications.

I'm not hiding it... but I'm not out either. That's about the most complicated and obnoxious place to be. It was wonderful telling management at work ~ I totally understand you about the big weight coming off my shoulders. Work was an anxiety that isn't nearly as bad now.

Extended family will be the most difficult... and Facebook will be immediately after that. I'll have to talk to my mother about extended family before too long, but it might be 6 mo out (I'm thinking of going FT outside work for this summer or fall... depending on my development ).

Coming out to people is a very personal thing and seems to be dictated by both the relationship you have with your family - if any, and when the urge to move on strikes you. I went FT very quickly but I didn't much care what anyone thought. To be honest it has been a non-event. I gave a lecture to 300 medical students two days after going full time, I had given a previous lecture the week before as a guy.

I got one personal question at the end of the lecture when a girl came up and asked where I had bought my boots!

My plans are in a lot of flux - a lot will come from HRT, but I'm planning on being partly FT before I'm FT at work too. Even if it's only a few weeks or a month...

Really, though... I have no idea how long I can keep up the whole "male" charade. Other than dressing androgynously (for now), I'm not actively presenting as male. In fact, I'm changing a lot of my presentation in all areas of my life. Summer will be an extreme challenge for me to keep any amount of male presentation and I may want to address some of that now (regarding HRT and Laser).

Found 25 cents in my yard.  It's probably was my sister's.  Oh well.  It's mine now, and with my tight budget for the next year and a half, I'm going to need it.

This morning when I got to work I got changed and had to pee-pee. We couldn't find the key to the man's room and after a few seconds the senior caretaker handed me a key with "you can just use the girl's room". As caretakers, our uniforms are unisex and androgynous, so I felt so good about going in to the right toilet for a change, not even wearing guy clothes and being able to have a few minutes that felt right. When I was coming out I even saw a sign that said "Have a nice day Ladies!" I felt so fabulous.

if used right its useful, cause you can keep in touch with people there and also store precious memories,,,
for example I have all these guy pictures of me there to use them when I do a before and after video...

That's a good point. I figure I'll get sucked in eventually.

My SO had an account briefly a few years ago. She lost when Facebook insisted on her providing a mobile phone number to prove her humanity. Considering we don't own a mobile phone, that proved difficult. It also caused me distress to think that participation in cell phone culture is considered a sufficiency condition for humanity now.

Here I thought it was just me thinking like that! I've even said, "Come back and talk to me when you get that damned thing off the side of your head!"

Had to get an x-ray done and the technician asked if me if I was pregos, I said nope no chance of that. That made me smile. You know you pass when LMAO.

I just got a job promotion today and sizable increase in pay.  I'm now the head 'man' at our largest distribution facility with 30+ in house employees.  Yes, sadly I'm still stealth there, but it will allow me to pay for future procedures .  Maybe I'll be the head woman there one day if all works out.

Had a nice bike ride this morning as very pleasant day in Sydney.
Will go for a run later
Crowds lined up for day two of the cricket at the SCG not far from me as I went past at 5.30am!
Very busy when I came home.

Will hear about bonus and pay rise at work shortly which should be good seeing what I did last year as I had to put everything on hold until the work was done and put in regular 60 hour weeks for 9 months.

Too much salt in your diet, too much partying? I can so relate to this, my body is purging itself from the holidays. I hate it when my pants start feeling tight around my waistline.

finally found peace of mind in being trans and christian.
who knows how long that will last.
