A long time friend... She also invited a friend of hers over (FTM pre hormones) and his girlfriend.
So it's just been a great day, a better night I'm sure.. and to top it all off.. I'm getting my ears pierced tomorrow!

Congrats Jessica!! That's a big step.

I was over at my parents house today to drop some stuff off and along the way we ended up talking about me and some of the changes I've noticed about myself since I started HRT. Well before I left my Mom asked to see my breasts, first the fact that she didn't say chest or pecks had me thrilled and second was that she got wide eyed and gasped when she could clearly see that I had buds under my nipples. The best part was right before I left they asked me "well how do you feel about this new development" to which I said with a proud smile on my face "I'm happy about this as with each little step I feel like I'm am becoming the person I've always felt that I was" So I left their house in a great mood with is rare as usually I get emotionally or mentally beat down after having a conversation with my family about me being transgender.

I have 2 things that made me happy today 

- I came out on Facebook tonight and I receive all positive likes and comments. I didn't lose any friends, but did gain 3. (3 of my wife's friends friends requested me.) Even my ultra-religious aunt in TN was supportive. How I did it, was first change my name and gender and started out with why the name change on FB. Of course all my immediate family and in-laws already knew. (The in-laws were the last to tell before I came out 100%) So all in all a great outcome.

- I had my 2nd appointment with my HRT doctor and the results of my blood tests were excellent. My meds were changed from half dose to full dosage and everything is a go!!! My next HRT appointment with be in 3 months in April to make sure everything stays OK.

Congratulations. Im glad everything is going well.

I had a wonderful day at work, yesterday. My officemate left for another company... and my friend said she'd move in, though she's also leaving in a few months and won't be able to. She said I was one of the few people she'd like to sit with there.

I also talked to my managers - they have a meeting with HR later this week (just them) and I'll hear about it afterward. I think they're talking with another manager who went through this process and probably getting a little education, too.

I love my life now, The darkness is gone and I am seeing so much more in the world.
I love my new girls as they grow bigger. I can see him slowly disappearing day to day. Soon he will be gone.

I love my Doctor who is fabulous and has been so understanding.
I'm looking forward to my next therapist session on Saturday, should be fun.

Picking up my new bike wheels this week to complete my super bike.

So, I was about to go to sleep and I thought I would check my email once more before heading there since I've been anxiously awaiting a response from an Informed Consent Clinic that I asked if I would be welcome there because it's out of province. I've checking my inbox daily and it's been almost a month without hearing anything.  Nothing there, so I decided to start deleting the hundreds of unread junk email I had in there.  Finally got it down to 40 unread emails and what do I see?  A response from the clinic received only 5 days after I contacted them.  I thought I had been checking rigorously every day for a response but apparently not enough.  Anyways, they said they would be happy to see me  .  Trying not to get too excited or get my hopes up before anything actually happens, but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!  I'm so nervous and anxious now...but its a better nervous and anxious than before....

It got to 46C but I had my hair in a pony tail.
