Probably but it sounds like too much trouble. And you'd still not be able to produce biological offspring.
Thanks.. That gives me hope... -__-

Least you don't have to deal with this:

(Warning: May or may not contain profanity)

And turns out I forgot that video that was online in December, that makes it 7 times? I just can't shut up and the journalists likes that! Lol! Nono, it's about traffic safety :)

Wondering if a uterus transplant would ever be possible...
Unfortunately you would always have to worry about rejection and taking daily meds to combat it. One day though maybe! :)

I figure it will likely be at least another month to a month and a half before I actually get a whole day off.  lets hope I don't go off the deep end beforehand, lol.  It would be nice to sleep in at least one or two days right now, but I can't. sigh

Hang in there Jaime, you'll probably have to compensate by crashing earlier in the evening.

I'm just sayin how it is. >.> lol. Even if it were possible now you'd have to take a bunch of anti-rejection drugs (which aren't good you and aren't recommended during pregnancy) and if you were pregnant you probably wouldn't have wide enough hips so they'd have to cut you open AGAIN to take out the baby. (and possibly uterus because after awhile you'll get sick of the drugs, people have stopped them for amputated limbs) That's beside the fact that all of it would cost A LOT. It's just not worth it, even if it's some weird clone uterus and you don't need drugs.

So srry. Transwomen having genetic eggs does look promising though.

It would be neat if people one day could swap organs just like that though. I'd gladly donate away some of mine for people who need them more than me lol.

I don't know if I will ever have it in me to treat myself.  I was going to buy a Little Ceasar's deep dish pizza, but then I settld for a small frozen pizza that my nephew eats when he's over here.  It was nasty, but at least it's free.  I got to think of that $200 + I will have to spend for the extended warranty on my laptop.  By the way, I need to definately take this laptop of to Best Buy next week in order to get a new battery and charger if I can.

Sometimes it is sad when you know you can't grow a baby inside you. :(

But then again, that happens more than just occasionally to cisgendered people aswell. Biology is a heartless bastard like that.

So I needed to find some papers for my thesis...I finally organized my huge, unruly pile into smaller more organized piles. And well. Not only are the papers I need not there (must be in my locker...), I now feel so intimated by the huge amount and want to cry haha.

I dont care about pain. A pregnancy is a miracle that i would love to experience. Knowing that child literally came from me would be an amazing feeling.

PM'd you Gwynne. :)

As for all the people who wish they could get pregnant...I get the idea of wanting the choice, like most cis women, but I can't comprehend why anyone, cis or trans, would want to got through all that *shudder*

About 4 years ago I realised I didn't want to pass down my genes, and that there are too many children who deserve a loving family.
I don't have to give birth or even toilet train them, although I would want to (ok toilet train maybe not) I would be OK with taking in a toddler, even a teenager. As long as I get the feeling of being a mother, holding a child close, be there for them, love them, and have them love me back, and know I am doing something good, saving a young boy from life in a gang, or a young girl from being sold into prostitution. Best yet, give them a life, an education, amd give me someone to be proud of, and say "yep, that's my kid!" when they win the school geography bee, or score the game winning goal on the pitch, or succeed in whatever they so desire to pursue.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
