What's that sweetie?

Sometimes it is sad when you know you can't grow a baby inside you. :(

aww. that is sad.  :(

I dont care about pain. A pregnancy is a miracle that i would love to experience. Knowing that child literally came from you would be an amazing feeling.

Yeah, I imagine it would be. But some cis women use surrogates. Sperm or egg, it doesn't matter. I know it would never be the same, but the child would still come from you.

PM'd you Gwynne. :)

As for all the people who wish they could get pregnant...I get the idea of wanting the choice, like most cis women, but I can't comprehend why anyone, cis or trans, would want to got through all that *shudder*
Because its more than just flesh and bones. There would be a soul growing inside.

I understand that but its more the physical aspect. If i get a surrogate, i wouldnt be putting my own strength and will into bringing a child, my child, into this world.

I'm trying to come up with a transitional sentence and for some reason it's just so hard.

Ughhhhhhhhh I'm still thinking about that guy, all day everyday. It's even more invasive than my dysphoria. I find him very emotionally and physically attractive. >.>

And I totally wanna hook up with him.

Did the same with one guy, who left me before anything even started.
And then the next week I find out he's engaged the "the love of his life," (this girl has claimed to have 4 of them. At the same time. Without the others knowing.) and is having her move from Detroit to London to be with him.

I'm in the same boat. Which is odd because I find the idea repulsive most of the time.

Ugh. I used to have some friends like that. They'd claim to be engaged, cheat on their supposed fiance(e)s, then start dating the person they were cheating with, then claim to be engaged...

I could describe in detail how unpleasant it is be pregnant if you like. Seriously, no one ever describes how uncomfortable, painful, and gross it is.
This may just be me, but I think adopting a kid would make a person just as connected. To be honest, I didn't feel all that connected to my son until I held him.

I'm very conflicted, because I don't have a home; I wander around, and know no other way.
I'm torn between settling down and starting a family, and roaming free, both which I want to do so badly but don't know how to do either truly.

I didn't expect anything serious to happen for the next 2.5 years, when I plan to go to the UK for graduate school, but he didn't se it that way. He just wanted someone to f*** sooner than later, I guess.
See my earlier post about adoption. Similar kind of feeling.

What's it really like? I heard they use scissors down there to make sure the opening's large enough or something. <gulp>

An episiotomy. I feel like I need one the day after eating too much sharp cheddar cheese, buuuut we won't go there, it's another matter.  :D ;D

No, you're hardly from the only woman that feels that way. I actually read about this woman:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2303588/The-mother-says-having-children-biggest-regret-life.html

If I was a cisgender woman, I could see that being me, lol. Being like "oh yeah I guess I'll have kids...meh..." and then having them and finding out that, indeed, the motherly instinct was still lacking. I'd be like her too...I wouldn't let my resentment or distaste stop me from being a good parent, I'd do the best I could to raise happy and well-adjusted kids, but it wouldn't give me any joy personally.

Well that, combined with the talk of "snipping" is just...lol. The first time I heard they have to "snip" down there sometimes with delivery...I nearly died, and it never horrifies me any less.

I understand that feeling.  Which do you feel is the best route for you to take at this time?

I wish I didn't have to go to college, and could just travel, fall in love, and hope that any children I'd adopt would fit into my lifestyle, but that isn't realistic at all.

At least it's cinematic.  I wish some rich person can give me 2 billion dollars so I wouldn't have to work and I could go straight into my transition.
